snapdragon76We ended up not going to Bible Study last night. Something came up. So the food we made for it'll have to be saved until next week.
I have some scanning I need to do today. I don't think it'll take too long. It just depends, really.
And I signed up to play Hatori on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kawaiiayu's and sleepdebtfairy's Furuba Canon RP. I guess I must be a glutton for punishment. But, if I can do a decent job of Amon on ATACT, I can pull of Hatori. Both are serious bishies wih dark pasts.
Annnd, for your reading pleasure, a mini-summary of Furuba ch. 110. I'm doing this by memory, so bear with me.
We're in the middle of Golden Week. Yuki mentions how it would've been nice to have gone away somewhere for that week, but there were just too many things to do. Tohru states that it's still be a nice week if the weather contines to hold up.
Yuki then notices that Shigure isn't around and wonders if he's still asleep, being that he only recently got up himself. Tohru mentions that Shigure had left earlier that morning. As she goes to wipe down the table, her hand brushes up against Kyo's and they both remember what happened previously (the sheet hugging scene), and both blush profusely.
Tohru, embarrassed, apologizes to Kyo to which he replies for her not to worry about it. He then askes her for the cloth so he can help her and they both start to argue over who gets to wipe down the table (but nothing serious). Meanwhile, Yuki stuck watching this whole exchange take place, suddenly excuses himself. He tells Tohru he'll be back before dinner and Tohru and Kyo watch as he rushes out. As he does so, he thinks to himself that being in there was like a son caught between a mother and her new boyfriend.
As he wanders around outside, a woman mistakes him for his brother Ayame. When he mentions that Ayame is his brother, she realizes her mistake and says that Ayame wouldn't be so young and vaugly remembers the fact that he had a younger brother.
Back at the house, both Kyo and Tohru are feeling very self consious which goes unnoticed with each other. Tohru offers tea, but Kyo declines. He then asks if she'd like to go somewhere, to which Tohru gets very flustered. Annoyed, Kyo mentions that if she can't decide on somewhere, he'll go back upstairs to sleep. Tohru then blurts out they need to get some eggs. Kyo is a bit annoyed that the only place she can think to go is grocery shopping, but he relents and agrees to go with her. Then he mentions that if she thinks of anywhere else to go while they're out, to simply mention it, to which she agrees. She then thinks to herself that being able to spend some time together makes her very happy.
Kyo, however, bangs his fist against the wall in frustration because he noticed how cute she looked and thinks he's starting to turn into a dirty old man for thinking so (awwwww). Hana-chan, meanwhile, tunes into his waves and comments to Uo-chan and Megumi that she can feel Kyo turning into a dirty old man who's after Tohru. Uo-chan simply mentions that he'd not able to do anything and won't be able to for quite some time and Megumi mentions that he could curse Kyo just for good measure.
After meeting the woman on the street, Yuki heads towards Ayame's shop since she had asked him to give Ayame her regards. When he enters, he is greeted by Ayame in one of his creations and asks for Yuki to hold himself back. He's also greeted by Mine in one of her maid outfits and he asks her if the shop was actually open. Ayame tells him it was a silly question to ask since the majority of shops are closed during Golden Week. Yuki then asks why Ayame was dressed the way he was and Ayame replies that just because it's Golden Week, it's no reason to stop 'adorning yourself.'
Mine, meanwhile, realizes they ran out of tea so she offers to go and get some more. Yuki wonders if she's going to go out dressed as she is. Mine tells him not to worry that it's gotten warmer out and she doesn't need a jacket. Yuki is frustrated by the fact that he wasn't able to get his actual point across.
Mine then leaves, leaving Yuki and Ayame alone. Ayame asks why Yuki has suddenly come to visit him on his own. Aya guesses that his scenario of running into Tohru in the bath was the reason, to which Yuki denies. Ayame then asks Yuki what it was he wanted to talk about since It seems Yuki called ahead of time. Yuki tells him that he ran into someone Aya once knew and was asked to send their regards. Surprised, Aya askes Yuki if it was a man or a woman and Yuki replies that it was a woman. He tried asking for her name, but she wouldn't give it. He mentions that when in high school she had been the student council president at her school.
Ayame suddenly realizes who it could have been and stands up in surprise. He then claims he must apologize and scrambles to find a gift as well. Yuki, meanwhile, is confused. He then tells Ayame that she's probably gone right now. He then asks what happened between Ayame and that woman.
Then Ayame begins to tell Yuki of what happened to him in high school, in fairy tale form, of course. He says that while he was SCP, he had attracted many followers and fans as was natural to do. There were certain events that took place that were done along side of a nearby all-girls school. This was done mostly in order to deepen the ties to the girls school that was a sister school to the all boys school the Trio attended. Due to the fact that he was SCP, Ayame would on occasion work alongside the SCP of the girls school. It seems she developed a bit of a crush on him that he was completely unaware of. But, he wasn't much into the consideration of other peoples feelings at that time.
It seems, that after one such event the school had together, she had decided to confess her feelings to him since they were to be graduating soon and she might not get another opportunity to do so. Ayame, on the other hand, simply brushed her off. He does at least ask her for her name. The girl gets a little flustered, though. She tries to tell him she'd given him her name a while ago. Ayame states he simply forgot it due to the fact she wasn't overly remarkable enough for him to rememeber it. He then goes on about how she's making a huge fuss over nothing. Hatori, however, puts a stop to it before the situation gets worse. The girl, meanwhile, is thinking to herself about what an idiot she is and begins to cry. Ayame is completely clueless at to the reason. Hatori tries to tell him it was due to the fact her feelings had been hurt, and Ayame mentions he was unaware he did anything wrong. Hatori then tries to explain that some people get hurt more than others do.
Meanwhile, back in the present, Ayame explains that he didn't understand what Hatori had meant at the time, but the whole incident had made enough of an impression on him that he can still remember it. He then goes on to reflect if maybe he had let a number of important things slip through his fingers at the time. Yuki then asks Ayame if it was due to Mine and then asks if she's his girlfriend.
Ayame mentions that he doesn't recall making any sort of formal announcement of that sort, but Yuki tells him that he can tell anyway. Ayame then goes on to explain how Mine had showed up in his life one day and that they started working together and that he was very happy. He then thinks back to when he told Mine that even though he wasn't sure he'd be able to make her happy, and asks her if he had told her he loved her if she'd eventually dissapear from his life. Mine then told him that it was her decision to make in regards to her own happiness. Then she tells him she's head over heels for him and says she wants to stay with him forever (awwwwwwww). Ayame then tells her how relieved he is that she wants to stay with him and how devastated he would've felt if he'd been rejected. It was then that he finally understood how people could be hurt in that way.
Ayame then mentions how he wishes he could apologize to the girl he had hurt so badly back in high school. He then wonders what sort of lasting efffects that must've had on her throughout her life. Yuki then tells him that she seemed to only laugh slightly self-consiously and that she had standing behind her what appeared to be a husband and child.
Yuki then goes on to say that Ayame shouldn't simply assume people are always unhappy and that even if that incident didn't completely dissapear from her life, that she'd probably experience many such moments as well as happier ones which is why she can smile as she does now. She was able to handle things throughout her life and it made her become an incredible person.
Ayame then realizes that by that line of thinking, that maybe he doesn't need to apologize to Yuki either. Ayame then tells Yuki that he's quite impressed by Yuki's understanding of others. Yuki then goes to ask whether or not Mine knows about Ayame's curse to which he changes the subject.
Then Mine returns from her shopping. She had mentioned that she decided to buy doughnuts when she ran into someone. Then Manabe makes his presence known, much to the surprise of Yuki. He mentions that he had nothing to do since his girlfriend was busy and he ran into Mine. Manabe then starts to tease Yuki saying he didn't think girls in maids uniforms were his thing and that how he'd probably like to see Machi in something like that. Yuki, embarassed then asks why Manabe has to say such things since he's Machi's older brother. Then the other three start to gang up on Yuki by prodding him to call Machi. Reluctantly he does so.
Meanwhile, as Kyo and Tohru are coming back from the grocery store, they pass by a pet store in which the cats go crazy over Kyo. Back at Aya's store, Machi clings for dear life to a Mogeta plushie as Aya and Mine try to persuade her to change into one of the costumes from the store. Yuki tries to rescue Machi, but Manabe stops him saying things are just starting to get interesting....
Poor Machi is all I have to say. And aren't Mine and Ayame so cute!!!
