snapdragon76I had to feed the cats right away lest they waste away. At least, that's what The Boy thinks at any rate. Today's a pretty slow day. I'm either going to post on IB today or tomorrow on my latest manga volumes. It depends on time and everything.
I had a little adventure yesterday. I was trying to print off a CD cover for the latest CD I burned, but I kept having problems. The printer carriage kept getting hung up. I was looking and looking to see if I could find the cause, but I couldn't see it. I was getting very frustrated to say the least. I kept trying different options and stuff to see what the problem was. So finally, I took another closer look inside the printer housing itself and came across the problem. There was someting stuck in the tracks preventing the carriage from going acrosss like it should. I plucked it out and was ready to toss it, but first I wanted to do a test print to double check and see if that was the only problem. Well, the test sheet printed off fine, but the paper drooped as it was coming out. I grabbed the trusty flashlight and took a gander. One of the flappy things that supports the paper as it come out was missing. Then, I take a closer look at the thing I took out of the printer tracks. Sure enough, it was one of the "wings." So, after a little bit of time I was able to reinstall it properly (getting the little spring in place and everything). Now, everything's hunky dory. Of course, I should have charged myself $50 for labor.

Why I like these particular characters? Hmm, a bit of a toughie. I guess I just symathize with them to a great extent. I mean, Haru is just so cool and they way he cares for Rin is just so sweet and heartfelt. And Kureno's just such a sweetheart. I mean, look at all he's given up for the sake of one person. And as to him and Uo, well even though their meeting was pretty brief, they were actually very happy and they both really need that in thier lives (I know, longer than a sentence, I'm sorry).
Rurouni Kenshinflamika

Pairing: Kenshin/Kaoru
This one is easy. Kenshin is a really conflicted character who after years of being a professional killer, wants to do something good in his life and try and attone for his past. He can actually start to have the happiness he deserves with Kaoru.

This is basically the same as Kenshin. Vash has been through a lot in his long life and basically all he wants to do his live on and try and be a regular guy and help people time and again, but his brother (and others) are just making it difficult for him. Meryl is one of the few people who see him as just that: a guy who wants to go on living and do the best he can in life. What is is about Kiba that draws me to him? Is it his beautiful eyes or his fierce determination. It's one of those, I know. Plus, the whole time he kept thinking he was such a loner, but then he found true friendship within his small pack. And Hige and Blue's blossoming relationship was just so cute. And towards the end... *hold back tears* Those last moments always leave me feeling verklempt.

I like Hakkai a lot. Again, sweet guys with a dark past. I feel an incredible amout of sympathy towards guys like him. He deserved none of what happened to him. He has such scars, not just physically, but emotionally as well.

Yep, I'm an L fangirl! He's just so quirky and intelligent. And even though he looks as though he needs a good grooming and in need of sleep, I find him kinda cute. Besides, he's actually pretty athletic, believe it or not! I don't really have a pairing for this series. I mean, Misa's a bit... annoying at times. Time will tell...

Yup, I love Pip! He's just such a card! Really! He's a great character and brings so much to the series. I also like Alucard a whole lot too simply because he's just so cool! And the Pip/Seras relationship started off a awkward and cute to touching and tragic... I/A just has sooo much potential.

I just adore Zel! Yes, again with the angst, but I think he's mellowed some since the start of the series. Amelia's helped with that, I think. She helps to lighten his mood. There are so many sites that explain their whole dynamic much better than I could.

My first fandom. *sigh* What can I say. Mostly I like how InuYasha became after meeting Kagome. He's become mellower and more trusting. More protective. Now if only he'd admit his feelings!!

I really like Al. I can't explain it, really. He's a good alchemist in his own right, yet he doesn't want any glory. All he wants to do is help his brother. I still think he could've become a State Alchemist as well... And Ed and Winry are just so cute!
