More 'Death Note' musings (and other stuff)...

*sigh* Sometimes I get so disgusted with LimeWire. I mean, it's a good program and everything, but there are too many frequent times that when I try to download certain songs, I keep getting warnings that say the file's corrupted. I mean, one or two is expected, but every song? *grrrr*

You know, when I went to get my haircut the other day, there was a new hairdresser in there who had her hair cut in a similiar manner to Akito's. I mean, how weird is that! The fact that I would notice something like that.

I actually got around to reading about 9 chapters of 'Death Note' yesterday. I would have gotten farther, but I wasted time taking some quizzes for fun! Anyway, we see Misa introduce herself to Raito, which was very risky for the both of them, which of course Raito zeroed in on right away. But then, he feels pretty much anyone is intellectually inferior to him. I think L is the only one he considers an intellectual equal. And then, once he found out Misa had a Shinigami eye, he wanted to use that for his advantage in order to kill L. However, even though his intention was to originally use Misa as a pawn and then get rid of her, Remu put the kibosh on that idea. But that kind of got solved since Misa wasn't nearly as clever as Raito in covering her tracks since she got caught, but before she completly broke down, she asked Remu to kill her. He couldn't do it, so she had him take away her Death Note and therefore her memories of ever owning it. And that's where I left off, pretty much.

I think I'm going to start a journal on Greatest Journal as well. Mostly so I can use all the icons I have. I know, terrible reason, but I only plan on using that one for random rambling and sporadic observations anyway. I stil plan on keeping this one as my main one.

I like Rem a lot, actually. But there I go again, liking characters that are devoted to another. For some reason, Misa is not sitting well with me, though, especially in recent chapters.

I have yet to form a solid opinion of Misa yet. I think she's OK, but I need to read more to make a more definite determination of my opinion. L's still my favorite, though!

How's that for throwing out $10.00 words!
