Well, today is the most depressing day of the year for single people. But, I'm doing OK. I've long since made my peace with Valentine's Day.

I doubt my Akito fic will be finished in time for the contest. Bummer really, since the prize was really sweet! I have no idea how I'm gonna start it. Which is probably why I won't make the deadline. I'll still do it though just to see if I can pull it off.

I got some plastic storage boxes so I can store my mangas in one place instead of mixed in with my regular comics. And I realized that ever since I started reading manga, I haven't been keeping up with American comics. Hmmm...

Got a new wallpaper thanks to

kawaiiayu. It's of Haru/Rin (see userpic). It's really good. I liked my Rain/Machika one, but I think I'll stick with Rin and Haru for awhile!

Discovered that when my toilet went kerflooey a couple of months ago, that some of the water seeped through to the linen closet across the hall. Mom found this out when she was clearing stuff out since she spent most of the weekend going through a bunch of our videotapes and putting them in storage. There was all this nice mold on the walls. Ick. So she took some bleach water and cleaned it off. My toilet has been nothing but trouble since we moved in almost 8 years ago.

And I can't believe I missed FMA Saturday! I was sooo pissed! Xer said it was an important episode, too. Well, good thing [adult swim] rebroadcasts on Thursdays. The last one I saw was the one where Ed and Mustang have a showdown against each other. It was quite funny, actually.
