Well, it's that last day of January. It seems so sudden. Grandma's lil' birthday shindig went off without a hitch. She seemed to really enjoy herself, which was good. She loved the gift my mom and aunts got her. It's a trip to Branson, MO sometime in April (when it warms up). She was near tears! I think they made a good choice!

After the busy week-end, we're all going to take it easy today for the most part. My aunt from up North goes back on Tuesday and mom returns to work on Wednesday. Things will slowly get back to normal (if you can call it normal).

I was happy I got another response to my inquiry on stnf. It was a good one, too. soleta_nf gave her response. And I can totally see where she's coming from, especially comparing it to the Buffy/Spike dynamic. And she also mentioned about it possibly developing in to something further (like with Burgy and Selar). That got me really excited!

flamika is making a Kureno moodtheme like the Akito one I'm using. And, naturally, I'm gonna dl it. I still have the instructions on how to do it, so not worries there. She's also considering making a Haru and Rin one. Which I'm also gonna dl. *giggles* Of course, I might have to get another Photobucket account. *snickers*

Tomorrow, I'm changing the color of my journal temporarily. In honor of Valentine's Day! I think it'll be cute!

I also was able to buy Furuba #7 and RK #11 on Friday! I'll post more about them later this week on Incoherant Babbling.

I started the Rin and Haru moodtheme last night, and it's progressing quicker than the Kureno one. O_o Looking back, I wasn't entirely satisfied with some of the moods I designated for Kureno. Guess I'll have to go back and tweak it some more.

Rawr. I want Furuba 7! But I'm getting it from Amazon.com and they have it listed as "Not Yet Released" so I have to wait. *sigh*

Yay! I'll keep my eyes pealed.

I was frankly surprised to find it in the store. I had ordered it from Tokyopop and usually I get it from them before it hits the stores. That was the case with #6. I was in there Friday and I just happen to look and a little seahorse caught my eye! I nearly squealed right there in the store. So, now I'm gonna have two copies of it. *sigh* Oh, well...

It's a really good volume, too. I'll probably post more specific things about it later on this week in my manga journal (as already stated).
