Sorry if my last post seemed a bit long. I'll try to keep this one pretty regular length.
I read "Mars" volume 10 yesterday. Needless to say, there was one part in particular where I just about turned beet red (those of you who've read that far probably know what I'm talking about).
I also watched part of "Everwood" last night and now I'm curious as to whether or not Ephram and Amy actually did it.
As to the concert on Friday, it was pretty good. I "dug" it. It almost didn't happen. It seems the lead singer for the group "MercyMe" had a baby (his wife did, actually) six weeks premature and she developed diabetes. Naturally he wanted to stay with his wife and baby so the sponsers were trying to think of various options. 1. Postpone the concert for a few weeks, 2. book another group, 3. fly the lead singer in just for the concert and have him fly out as soon as it was over. They chose option 3. They didn't really want to go with 1 because of all the heavy advertising for that particular night. They'd have to spend more to re-advertise later. Option 2 was out since the group they were planning on using as a replacement (whom I've seen before and liked) were stylistically different and MercyMe were the main attraction. But, everything worked out well in the end.
That black cat keeps coming around. I don't mind so much if only Missy (my oldest cat) weren't so possesive. She practically tears down the blinds in the living room whenever the black cat shows up. If it comes by the front door, Missy nearly tears the screen in the door off. *sighs*
