I'm a little miffed. I was watching "CSI:NY" last night and it was getting to where they were getting the explaination of one of the crimes, when it was interrupted by a "Special Report" on Arafat's death. Now, I realize it's important news, but they couldn't wait a few more minutes!! It came back on and I got to see the last few minutes of pre-views for next week's show. I did get to watch a new episode of "Smallville" last night though! More of Tom Welling with his shirt off! *swoon*

I finally started on my Gren essay for <"lj user="reflections_2">. I just hope I can make the word count.

At the moment, I'm in Furuba vol. 4 again. And, I got to read a clearer translation of some parts of Ch. 101. It makes more sense now, but there are some things I'm not sure of. Like Shigure saying he hates Kureno. Now I can understand somewhat since K's "intimacy" with Akito, but I wonder if it's more than that? Like since Kureno's free of the curse kind of thing? I wonder if Shigure would still feel the same if it was another member of the (still cursed) Jyuunishi? *scratches head* And if Shi's feeling for Akito are due to more than just the Jyuunishi bond? *scratches head again* I mean, he was kind of young when he and the others had the dream. Maybe as more chapters come out, it will start to come together more. Speaking of which, I hope we see some of Rin in the next chapter. Things were indicating that we might. What would her reaction be if she finds Kureno's free? Especcially since she's been trying to find a way to break the curse herself.

Was I rambling? Sorry. I know I said I was going to try to limit my anime/manga babbling to my other journal, but sometimes it spills over!

Now, I'm off to read Ch. 3 of COI!!! *giggles with glee*

Shigure's feelings about Kureno are definitely interesting. ^^ Damn, but that's a complicated man. I do think his feelings about Akito are more than the Jyuunishi bond, which makes him . . . I don't know. My brain is mush, and I've only written 2000 words today so far. -_-

I hope Rin doesn't freak out too badly when she finds out Tohru's been hanging onto this information for a couple of *months* without telling her. She seems to be trying not to yell at Tohru too much, but she's out of the 'gentle' habit.

*laughs* Since I abbreviate the novel differently, I was kind of like "she's going to go read what, now?" before I clued in. ^^ I like this chapter. Yay!

Yes, he's one confusing puppy. TBut that's what makes us like the series so much. Trying to figure things out.

Has it been months? It hard to tell timelines sometimes. And yes, I hope Rin will be understanding of Tohru's conflict in regards to this whole thing.

I liked this chapter, too. There were a few times I felt like tearing up. All the Kyoru moments were really cute, too. Of course, I still haven't made up my mind on who I want to see Tohru with. I like both boys. Poor Kyo though. Having to get locked up. I thought te way you had Hatori explain how deep the bond goes was very good.

I'm pretty sure it's a couple of months--Tohru's conversation with Kureno seemed to come right on the heels of Momiji giving him the DVD at New Year's, and now graduation is coming up, so I think it must be March . . .

The novel reflects when I started writing it--at the end of the anime, I hadn't decided who I wanted Tohru to be with, and was really into the balance between the three of them (still am; kind of miss it).

The same thing happened to me. But I wasn't that upset cuz I wasn't really paying attention to the show. But I was still thinking, Wow, I bet that really pissed some people off!

Plus it may be important news, but it is by no means urgent. Its not like finding out 5 minutes before the actual news came on makes a big difference. And then they had to go and give his whole life story!

Shigure x Akito =TRUE LUV!!!!!1111 damn it :P

I used to think that Gure was in love with Mayuko and wanted to break the curse so he could be free to be with her but that just doesn't make sense any more. Actually there was too much of a loophole with the mayuko theory.

If gure was truly in lovew with Mayuko he would hate hatori's guts but instead he's probably their number 1 supporter. I think Gure truly cares for both and would like to see them find love but at the same time I can't help but think it would also leave akito with one less jyunnishi to slobber over :P

Also if Shigure was such a womanizing ho he would have fucked Rin the moment she offered to sleep with him in exchange for information on the curse. This for me just show Gure isn't all that evil or slutty. He could have screwed her and not given her the information she wanted.

I'll stick with the glarring truth that Shigure Sohma is crazy in love with Akito. He hates Kureno because Kureno sleeps with Akito, is akito's favorite, and despite the fact he's free to go off and live a normal life with a normal female he is by Akito's side (which irritates gure cuz Akito is his woman :P)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to the Shigure/Akito pairing, I just wish I new what was really going on. But that's Shigure for you. Mr. Mysterious.

So perhaps the reason that he's so pissed at Kureno is not just because he slept with Akito, but because he's her favored. I mean, he might still be upset if it had been anyone else, but then they might not have been the "Chosen One" since they'd still be cursed and she didn't fear them leaving her. Hmmm...
