OK, I was watching "How Clean is Your House" last night and this house they were at... *screams* It literally looked like a disaster area (and I've seen my fair share recently). The woman who lives there wants to have her boyfriend to move in with her and he has bad asthma. Her one bedroom apartment had just so much crap everywhere (literally and figuratively). She owns a cat. One cat. It looked like she hadn't cleaned the litter box in months! There was caked on cat puke everywhere! *shudders* Cat hair everywhere! Papers and trash everywhere! The refrigerator looked like a science lab! Bleah! But, the ladies came in and told her how to clean properly and how to keep it cleaned. The results after they finished were amazing! I mean, I have three cats and my place is much cleaner! A little cluttered maybe, but still clean!!

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone getting slammed by Ivan. It looks like he's gonna miss us (thankfully), but he's headed towards the Panhandle and Alabama and Louisiana. I'm thinking about you, lizardali and isa2525. Be safe!

Eew...we had five cats running about the house at one point, but you would have never known because we'd keep it clean. It's not that hard to have a house even be somewhat clean. (Our in our case, it's clean, we just have more stuff than places to put it.) That's just nasty... (As much as I love animals, if the house reeks of them, it gets to me. I actually starting having sneezing fits because some friends would not clean up their dogs' fur from the carpets...and I don't have allergies!)

I'm glad to hear you've been spared another hurricane. I hope those in its path maje it out okay...
