snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Zekk - Bloodoath)
*siiiigh* Another early day off from work. Ordinarily I'd be excited, but seeing as I had to take no pay for the remaining hours, not so much. If I had more PTO time to use, I'd have used that, but I'm deep into the negative as it is, so I couldn't really do that. There wasn't very much for a lot of us to do today, so our boss agave us the option to leave early if we'd either use some PTO time or take a no pay for the rest of the day. Since it's Columbus Day today, the post offices are closed. so no mail came for us and therefore no checks to be posted. So a few of us had to find what we could. Tomorrow might be better. Maybe...

In other news, my step-brother's store got mentioned in an article in the paper in Battle Creek, MI! It's pretty cool! Check it out!

My icon-fu is starting to itch again. However, due to the loss of Snoopy, I also lost a lot of my icon info as well, so I have to search for it again, as well as some more brushes ect... But I found a few images I wanna fiddle with, so maybe when I have more time.

This weekend I didn't do much of anything except do a few things on my computer that I wanted to do. I didn't even get out of my pajamas!

On the book front, according to Sue Rostoni, the cover of Blood Oath-you know, the one with Zekk-is going to feature "Zekk in a very manly pose, looking ruggedly handsome. He's certainly not the boy we once knew." Yowza! I'm soooooo looking forward to this book. Zekk is a fave of mine and it's high time he gets the attention he deserves. I wonder if [livejournal.com profile] tenel_ka knows about this...

And I think the Red Tide is about to rear it's ugly head. I'm breaking out all over and the chocolate urge is rising. The urge to kill still is complacent as of yet, but time will tell...

Ugh.

Today in History: 1792
The cornerstone of what was termed the “President’s House” was laid by George Washington in Washington, DC. The name, “White House,” was not adopted until 1818. The house, designed by James Hoban, would be three stories tall with more than 100 rooms.
