*clings tightly to her Kleenex box*
I think I'm definitely getting a cold. I was fine before I went up North, but now... I feel like crap. I'm gonna go later on and buy some of that Airborne stuff that I heard works really well.
On top of that, I still haven't adjusted to my new glasses yet. My other pair broke and I had to get a new pair. Unfortunately, my other perscription expired three years ago, so I had to get a new exam. I guess my perscription changed drastically enough that I'm having a hard time seeing out of the new pair. It's like I've had a few too many. I have to take them off whenever I read or do anything on the computer. It's a pain. If they don't get adjusted by the end of the week, I might have to go back and complain.
In other news, the apartment we had waiting for us is going to be a no go it seems. The money we saved up for moving we had to use fro travel expenses and whatnot. So it's back to square one it looks like. And we have to get my grandma's apartment cleaned out by the 10th of March. The manager there was very unsympathetic. When my aunt told her what happend all she said was, "How soon can you get her stuff out." Cold hearted bitch. I'm so sorry the death of my loved one is so inconvenient for you! Anyway, my aunt's been working a little bit each day in trying to clear some things out. Some things are going to be devided amongst family members and others are going to be sold. I get the bed in the guest room (even though it's a twin) and mom gets the loveseat and the washing machine. My one cousin got the TV and his daughter (who just signed on a house) is going to get the dining room set.
I recently bought, manga-wise, 'TriMax' 8, 'Rurouni Kenshin' 24, and 'Death Note' 4. I also got the latest issue of 'Shojo Beat' so I've been reading up a storm, despite the fact I have to take my glasses of to do anything.
I wasn't able to get as far as I would've liked in catching up to the LJ entries. I only got as far as Saturday, and that even took me most of the day. So if there was anyting of any major importance any of you wanted me to read, you're just gonna have to link it to me.
Trivia of the day: In 1986, Rob Angel, a 24-year-old waiter from Seattle, Washington, developed Pictionary, a game in which partners try to guess phrases based on each other's drawings.
