The bad thing about listening to Keane at work is that they tend to be too soothing and hypnotic, so I eventually had to switch over to ABBA, which had more pep. It was either that, or tape my eyelids open.

It was pretty nice today… what I saw of it anyway. I was stuck in a windowless office all day. Well, I correct myself. I have a window, but it looks out into the atrium and the glass are those glass cubes.

Mom wants me to go out and buy her a new wireless optical mouse since my cat wrecked her old one (see previous post).

Me: "I think I know where I stashed my old one when I got my cordless mouse, I can let you have that."
Her: "No thanks. I want a Logitech™ Wireless Optical Mouse."
Me: "The ones that cost over $60?"
Her: "Yes."
Me: *facepalm*

I've been breaking out more and my chocolate craving has returned full force, so I think the Red Tide is about to rear its ugly head. *checks calendar* Yup, 'tis about that time. Joy.

We went for a joyride earlier in our former Music Minister's new-ish car. It's a nice Jeep SUV. It has GPS, Satellite Radio and a DVD player in the back. Sweeeet.

I just found out that we have a World Market in the neighborhood. I'm gonna check them out to see if they have any Japanese stuff.

My oh my, was my week-end a busy one. On Saturday, I went with my Sister Circles group (well, the three of us) and laid sod for a Habitat for Humanity housing development in our area. Twas our community service project. It was intense. I mean, I like having done it. I feel a sense of accomplishment. Laying sod is pretty hard work. I used muscles I didn't know I had before! Whew!

Sunday I went to church and then to my aunt's for Mother's Day. It was very nice and the food was wonderful.

I'm going to look into getting Photo Shop. What I got before was Photo Shop Elements. You can use it by itself, but I think it works a bit better with regular Photo Shop. Maybe I can work on the text thing then. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, look a few posts back)

I'm going to check out this program called Spybot and see if I can get rid of the spy ware my computer says I have. *crosses fingers* Wish me luck! I also need to find out what's wrong with my cordless optical mouse. It stopped working for some reason, and I put fresh batteries in it. For now, I'm using the regular one, but I miss my scroll wheel! *sniff*

Ciao!
