Mom is still sick, but she says she doesn't feel as bad as she did yesterday. Hopefully it's not contagious, because it doesn't look pleasant.


I finished my Jiro story yesterday, finally. Well, I still have a small afterword to write, and then I'll officially be finished. It seems to have gone over well, which I was happy about. Of course, I can't write romantic dialogue to save my life. I don't think I'd cut it as a manga-ka. My inspiration comes in spurts and I have too many gaps between installments. Any editor's I'd have would probably drop me like a bad habit.

I'm thinking of possibly restarting my Greatest Journal again, but not as a personal one but as a manga/anime one. I technically already have one: ryudoshi, but I hardly ever use it mostly because I stay logged into here all the time and it's such a hassle to log out and log into the other one. Which was one of the main reasons I made my graphics journal into a community.

Our plans for the holiday? Chillin' until the cookout at 4:00. Besides, I don't think mom feels like doing much of anything anyway.
