snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Amon 'Bitch Please' (rocknlobster))
*sighs* Well, no one ever said that running a forum would be easy. I just got inundated with a bunch of complaints about how the "Future Thread" format was done. Basically it's a whole separate place to have stories involving the children in the current storyline. I thought it would be a simple thing to divide it into various stages, like "High School," "Junior High," and so forth. Basically I started because I wanted to my character's daughter and the others in her age group to be able to have stuff written about them when they were older instead of waiting for them to age in the current storyline. In there, they're still toddlers yet. However, I knew that others had characters who had children and that they might want to write stories about them at various ages, which is why I set it up the way I did. Now people are saying it's too confusing and that the continuity will be jumbled. I can see how that might be a bit of a problem, but I already set up the folders within the thread. I mean, I don't know how to set it up in a way that would be best for everyone who wants to participate. At this point, I'm ready to throw in the towel. Stampers has already said she's thinking of starting a whole new forum just for the future stuff, but I kinda don't want her to do that. I mean, we already split from the one we were on before, and if she does that, I'm afraid we might be split even further. I already have enough going on what with the moving and packing and everything. I don't need this to be piled on top of everything else.

[livejournal.com profile] umadoshi, I need you to send me the studio version of "Sugar" again. I had thought I downloaded it from before, but it looks as though I didn't. That is, if it's not too much trouble. I already downloaded the other music files you sent me. I just haven't unzipped them and uploaded them onto my iTunes yet. I may have to wait a bit for that.

Last night, mom and I visited with a friend of hers she used to work with. She had to move away for various reasons, but she was back in town for a little bit, so she called mom up and told her she wanted to meet with her (and me too since I'm pretty friendly with her also). We met up at Longhorn Steakhouse (which I'd never been to before). Another friend of ours was with us and we stayed and ate and talked until almost 11:00 at night. It was a lot of fun. We laughed so hard! Before hand, we (mom and I) stopped by Old Navy so I could get a pair of shorts. Since we had originally planned on taking some stuff to the storage place, we kinda had to forgo that. We'll probably do it tonight when mom gets home from work.

Right now, there's a Moving Sale going on at the house. People have been going in and out and things have been buzzing. Some lady who lives down the street bought the bed I've been using. I don't know when she's going to get it. I won't need it this weekend since I'm going on that retreat thing, but I have a sleeping bag, so I'll be OK. At the moment, my monitor is sitting on a wooden tray since the desk it was on is going in the sale. It's not too bad though.

Things are quickly coming to a close. I mean, sometime next week I'll have to shut down my computer and be off for a little while. I don't know for how long though. I'll try and let everyone know for sure once it gets closer.

Trivia of the day: There are about 295 species of pigeons and doves in the world. <-- and I'll bet all of them have crapped on my car at least once.
