snapdragon76Well, I survived my Class Reunion relatively intact. Saturday was a picnic in a nearby park. I had some BBQ pork. Not very many people showed up to that (waaay too hot). Later on that night, was the dinner. I sat with a girl I used to know and we chatted for quite a bit. I talked with a few other people as well. This one guy I used to have a crush on came over to the table and started talking to us. He aske dme who I was and I told him (showed my pic on my nametag, actually) and he actually remembered me! I was quite surprised. After dinner there was a video presentation and then games.I left before the games got started, though. I wasn't feeling too hot (Crimson Wave, of all things). Then I got home and I had to stay in my dress until mom came home and could take a picture. When I get them developed, I'll try to post one. I didn't have too bad of a time.
I finally got to see it this week (well, most of it, I stillneed to see the last disk). All in all, it was pretty good. The animation is excellent I thought. And of course I just loved Alucard's voice. Crispin did such a great job. And his laugh... I really like the opening song. It reminded me a little of Fiona Apple's "Criminal" song a bit. People probably think I'm nuts, but oh well. Coolest scene I thought was in the first episode when Alucard replaces the clip in his gun and slides the barrel forward with his teeth. Of course, there were many other cool scenes to mention. The animatiors must've doe their research when it came to London, because it looked really accurate. I think this'll go on my "to buy" list. hellsing community like the manga beter. I can see why they feel that way. The manga fleshes out the characters a bit more (and of course, because there's Pip!). But I like the anime a lot, too. Manga Alucard can be a bit of a prick. Anyway, that's my two cents!
I got "Fruits Basket" vol. 4 on Saturday! Great, as always. We get introduced to Ayame! I just love him! When he and Shigure get together, it's such fun! Poor Hatori though, having to put up with them once they get on a roll!
I probably won't be able to post tomorrow because of the big birthday thing mom has planned for me. And for some reason, my "Friends" list is stuck. Nothing else shows up. I wonder why?
