Tonight we're bringing Mexican Lasagna to bible study. All I have to do is put it in the oven at the right time. It's not too bad. I'd had it before when someone else brought it. It's not too spicy, which is good since I have to stay away from spicy foods due to my Crohn's. Mom can even eat it since there's no wheat in it.
Well, I finshed "TRY" yesterday. I had gotten it yesterday and I actually watched it all in one day. Usually I tend to spread it out, but this time, I felt like watching both disks in one sitting.
It was a good ending. I felt it ended very well.
The filler stories were... interesting. Like "Lina in Wonderland." *snicker* Poor Zel. Being stuck in that proince's outfit.
The whole story with the Justice loving geezers reminded me of a cross between Voltron and Battle of the Planets.
I must say, I liked the DarkStar bow. That was really cool!
It's too bad Gourry wasn't able to keep his Sword of Light. But, he knew it was best to have it returned to where it belonged.
I really liked the ending sequence at the end of the last episode. It's too bad Jillas didn't return to the fox lady and her son. But, he felt he owed an obligation to Filia, so he stayed with her to help with her shop.
And, my favorite part of all... when Zel is at the end and he takes a drink from his canteen, what does he have around it? Why, a little momento from Amelia! ^_^ So cute! You notice, of course, that he doesn't have a momento from anyone else, don't you?
I can't stop chuckling at the best line from Saturday's episode of "Inu Yasha." "I may be old, but I'm not rusty!" I burst out laughing at that! I also chuckle at my favorite line from "Hellsing: Cross Fire" "From the depth of Satan's toilet..." I get a kick out of that one, too.
I know today I usually fix grilled peanut butter, but I think I'll go to the Chinese buffet. I have a hankering.
Quote of the day: "True love begins when nothing is looked for in return."
