Well, as you can see by my subject line, I saw a movie today.
It's been a long journey. I'd like to thank
cleolinda and the Made of Fail crew (
alliancesjr,
queenanthai and all) for introducing me to the lulz of this series in the first place and getting quite a bit of mileage out of it as a result.
I also know more about this series than I ever expected, or wanted, to. But, all of that is behind me now since there are no more books and no more movies. We can all return to our normal lives... until the DVD is released that is. Eh.
So, like I did for the first half of the two parter, I took notes and will be posting them as I wrote them (with a few additions here and there as needed).
Trailers:

Well, that's it. My notes on the finale of the Twilight 'Saga'. It's been an interesting ride, that's for sure.
Congrats for slogging through all of that, BTW. It took me longer than I thought since I had to add links and such.
Now watching Brave to cleanse myself.

- My theater was pretty full. I figured the real die hards saw it at the midnight showing, but even so they probably wanted to see it for a second time. This is also the first movie where I had an e-ticket. My new iPhone has a feature where you can use it to purchase movie tickets and the like. It was pretty nifty.
- So far, I only saw one Team Edward T-Shirt in the theater. Some of the theater employees had on Jacob shirts. I wore the closest vampire shirt I owned: My Marceline the Vampire Queen shirt from Adventure Time.
- Saw there were a lot of people playing games on their phones while they were waiting for the movie to start.
- There are quite a few guys in the theater. I dunno if they were dragged in by their wives/girlfriends or they came voluntarily. Next to me was a nice Filipino woman and her husband.
- There was a weird Acer computer commercial with Megan Fox about teaching dolphins to speak.
- There was a Vampire Diaries ad. Natch.
- OK, I love the Sears Connecting Flight commercial.
Trailers:
- The Hobbit!!!! Gonna watch the hell outta this when it opens next month. I also want to find out more about the hot dwarf.
- Carrie. This one look very intriguing, I gotta say. I did read the book and I heard it was gonna be closer to it than the 1976 movie was.
- World War Z. Jumping onto the zombie bandwagon. This is the first of two zombie movie trailers we see though.
- Now You See Me. Looks like a heist movie with magicians as the thieves? I dunno.
- Warm Bodies. Now, I've heard a lot of people compare this to the zombie version of Twilight. Whatever. It looks like it'd be kinda funny. People are calling it a parody. I dunno. I'll have to judge for myself.
- Wow. It looks like EVERYONE gets their name in on the opening credits. The credits scene is pretty nice though. Artful and all of that jazz.
- ROFL, this time it's Bella who almost crushes Edward with a bear hug.
- Now, time for Bella to out vampire everyone else. I was kinda surprised to see her actively go after that climber. She didn't simply stop in her tracks like in the book.
- Man. Wait'll Bella finds out about Jacob imprinting on Renesmee...
- OMG!!! Creepy baby looks even creepier!!! I didn't think it was possible!!! My eyes!!! I'd find a picture to horrify everyone, but my Google-fu is failing me. You just have to see for yourself. Yikes!
- Please, stop showing us the creepy baby. Please, for the love of humanity...
- Ha! I love how everyone is backing away slowly when Jacob is telling Bella about the imprinting. And they even used the "You named my baby after the Loch Ness Monster?!?!?" line.
- Seth is still adorable.
- Ugh, enough of the creepy baby!
- OK, the cottage is cute. I'd live there no problem.
- Dude, the closet is bigger than my bedroom! Naturally Alice had a hand in this. I need to get myself on these people's gift list.
- *snort* The "breaking in" of the bed. And I didn't think they'd actually RIP off the clothes. But, they're disgustingly rich, so I guess they can buy more.
- Kudos for being on the floor for a change of pace. Someone must've gotten the Kama Sutra for a gift.
- ROTFLMAO, Emmett!! I love you so much...
- More hoots and hollers in the audience when Jacob strips off his shirt.
- I love how Charlie freaks out when Jacobs strips down to his skivvys in front of him. If I were Charlie, I'd probably freak out too.
- Charlie is awesome.
- NO MORE CREEPY BABY! PLEASE!!!
- YUS!! The arm wrestling scene! It's just as I pictured it!!
- Oh yes, must have the sparkling. Can't have a Twilight movie without the sparkling.
- Uh oh. Irina.
- Older Renesmee is SLIGHTLY less creepy, but still creepy. They can't shake that Uncanny Valley effect. *shudders*
- Don't worry, everyone. Jasper and Alice will return and save everyone's bacon with their awesomeness.
- Edward still drives a Volvo, I see.
- So we get to see all of the other vampires meet Renesmee. It is pretty cool to see all the various covens.
- Garrett!! I gotta admit, Lee Pace looks hella sexy all scruffy looking.
- I kinda love Kate and Garrett. There need to be dolls/actions figures of these two. I'd buy the hell outta them. They may be my second favorite coupling after Jasper and Alice.
- An Albino vampire? Interesting. He even had white eyelashes (I looked).
- Alistair is kinda hot in a scruffy, grumpy way. What is it with these scruffy dudes being hot all of a sudden?
- A Japanese vampire? He's new...
- ...and now he's dead. DD:
- Awww, c'mon Emmett! You can take an electrical shock!! Big baby...
- Oh look. It's raining in Seattle. Big surprise.
- OK, why does Alice have a giant pair of scissors on her wall?
- Oh, dear. Here we go with the promise bracelet.
- Wouldn't the Amazonians be cold? Oh, right. They're vampires. They don't get cold.
- The Volturi look kinda like Death Eaters with the robes and all.
- OMG, Aro is so delightfully cray-cray.
- Oops, looks like Irina's goose is cooked. I feel bad for her sisters though. First they saw their mom be killed by the Volturi and now her. Bummer.
- Bella's all "Ha ha Jane! You can't hurt us cuz of mah super shield! Loser!"
- Better hurry up, Alice!
- Yay! Alice and Jasper are back!
- Hey! No slapping Jasper, buddy!!
- Bwahaha! Aro got face kicked by Alice!
- *gasp* Holy shit! Carlisle!!!
- JASPER!!!!! You bastards!!!!!
- NO! Not the littlest werewolf!!!!
- Now Leah! They're killing everyone!!!! What gives?!?!?
- Go Alice go! Avenge Jasper!!
- Buh bye, Aro!
- Holy shit, it was just a vision. DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT, ALICE!!!!

- LOL, someone in the theater said, "Oh thank God!"
- Dude, even adult Renesmee looks creepy! Bring back the actress who played her in the flash forward from the previous movie! You don't HAVE to make her look like the little girl playing her all the damn time!!!
- "Darling, we have our forever... now let's boink."
- Wow. They are listing every single person who was ever in the entire series at the end. I do have to admit, it was nicely done.
Well, that's it. My notes on the finale of the Twilight 'Saga'. It's been an interesting ride, that's for sure.
