snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Megamind eyes)
Now, I realize I haven't posted a honest to God entry in quite some time. Some of it has to do with laziness, and some has to do with there not really being anything interesting happening really.

Today, however, was not one of those days.

Mom and I were in the Wal-Mart SuperCenter to do what most people do there. Shop. We had checked out and were getting hungry, so we decided to pop into the onsite McDonald's while we were there.

Mom's knee had started to bother her, so I went to the counter to order and she decided to have a seat in the dining area.

While I was placing my order, an older lady (about middle aged or so) came up in a rush and pounded on the counter, demanding an iced tea. The girl behind the counter who was still in the middle of taking my order, politely told her that she'd have to wait until she finished with me before she could take her order. The lady seemed upset about this, but she waited (what else was she going to do).

So the girl behind the counter finished with me and I slid aside for the next person, who happened to be the rude lady wanting the iced tea. Now, while she was waiting, she was ranting and raving to the people next to her (who she did not even know) about taking a gun from the closet and shooting 'him'. Also, she seemed to be stomping her feet and punching the counter several times. I slid a little further away down the counter.

Now, I didn't know who the 'him' was that she was referring to, but I assumed it was the man she was with earlier in the check out line next to us while we were checking out at the store. I don't know if he was her husband or not.

She placed her order at the counter, once again for iced tea. The girl took the order and told her the price. The lady had a handful of change which she slammed down into the girl's hand. The girl deposited the money into the register and gave the lady her receipt, and asked the girl next to her to make an iced tea. She did, however, mutter under her breath (but I could still hear her and I assume others did too) that people seemed to be too impatient to wait. I had to make sure I didn't laugh too loud.

So crazy lady takes her tea and storms off. I think this is the end of it, but when I went to sit down in the dining area, mom told me a little bit more. Since she was sitting next to the window, she could see what the lady did next.

It was obvious she was waiting for someone, because she stepped out in the entrance way and seemed to be muttering and gesturing to... herself. Obviously she was still upset about something.

Then, the strange thing was, later I found out from one of the people who witness this whole meltdown that crazy lady had gone back to her husband (or whoever he was) and gave him a kiss.

I personally think it was a kiss of death, because the way this lady was carrying on, it seemed homicide or grievous bodily injury was on her mind.

I may keep my eye on the papers to see if there was a shooting lately...

Now, I would've had said something to her for being rude, but the way she was going on about a gun, I wasn't going to take my chances.

In other news, I received Chiseri in the mail [livejournal.com profile] secondlina! Much thanks to you and especially [livejournal.com profile] ichiban_victory for the work she put into crafting him. He's adorable and I luff him!

No. Joke. I mean, some people just should not interact with the public.

That is totally strange. And scary.

And I don't know what that is but it's adorable!

Indeed. You can see why I slid further down the counter.

That is Chiseri (http://www.namesakecomic.com/2011/01/06/dont-i/). he appears in an awesome webcomic created by two friends of mine called Namesake (http://www.namesakecomic.com/archives/) which has been going strong for a little over a year now! You should check it out. I think you'll like it!

No wonder he didn't show up on Google!

I will check the comic out, thanks!

True, the fandom isn't very large at the moment, so he probably wouldn't show up on Google just yet. But, it does have a TVTropes (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/Namesake) page, so that's something! Be warned, if you venture inside, you may never come out!

Yup. he is pretty happy! Here's a pic of him with Henry, my Pygmy Puff I got at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Oh, are you still taking commissions? I still plan to buy the prints, but I think I know what I'd like to have a fanart of.

Of course I do :D

Is THAT what a pigmee puff is suppose to look like? So not what I imagined.

According to the people at WWoHP they do. Still, he's cute and fuzzy.

Yay! I was wondering if I could have a picture of Marshall Lee and Marceline of Adventure Time done in your style. Not in a shippery sort of thing, since that would be a little weird since they're basically the same person. I find Marshall especially adorable for some reason.

Sure! Would you like to have your drawing as a sketch, inked or colored? The pricings are 10$-25$ and finally 35$ for color. And of course, i'll have you approve the sketch before finishing it.

Well, I may as well go all out and get the works. I'll take a colored one for $35, Alex. :DDD

Do I pay you via PayPal?

Are you kidding?! You guys are awesome! I am amazed that I have such talented and creative friends. Since I have no artistic bone in my body, I have to live vicariously through you guys.

An extra sketch?! *blushes* wow, that would be awesome! I'll tell you what. I'll let you pick the subject. I think you know me well enough that you know what fandoms I like. And if you need ideas, you can have a peek at my interests or my userpics.

And I'll send the money when I get home from work tomorrow. I have all my info on my home computer, lol.

ETA: Payment sent! I look forward to it! :DD
