Hello everyone. I hope you had a nice weekend. I did. I didn’t step foot outside of my house the entire time though. Mostly because I was suffering from a headache and also due to being off kilter from the time change. So I stayed inside and watched some Harry Potter DVD’s.
I want to try to get some time off in April because my dad and step-mom et al are coming down for a little over a week and they want to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Perhaps I should tell them that it’s a small part of Universal Islands of Adventure and they have to go through the rest of the park to get to it. Maybe dad and I can ride the Hulk roller coaster again!
I have to figure out a way of getting there though because for one thing, my car is kinda iffy at the moment and I don’t trust driving it far out of town and two I’d have to go the freeway and that terrifies me (in addition to having a terrible sense of direction). And the last thing I need is a panic attack in the middle of traffic. The way I got back and forth to college was using the surface streets and luckily the way the school was situated, it was pretty easy to do that. The entire time I was there, I didn’t venture too far into the city to do stuff.
I need to go next weekend sometime and look for a dress for my friend’s wedding. I think I’ll look into Kohl’s since they have a lot of cute things there. Then I have to think about accessories and such. Maybe whatever I get can also double as an Easter dress.
Not much else to report on except for continued prayers and support for the people of Japan who are still suffering from the aftereffects of the major earthquake and tsunami that hit them on Friday. If you would like to donate, then it would be easiest (I think) to send them to the Red Cross. I know they are a legitimate organization to send any donations to. I already sent mine. It wasn’t much, but every little bit helps, I think.
There is also an LJ community set up in case anyone is interested.
