Well, on the job front some rather... unexpected changes.

I may or may not lose some of the postings I do. Due to this big move a lot of the offices are doing, some of the charges won't be sent to our department (which, if you pardon me, is completely stupid, but I digress). I'm losing one of my ENT charges and I MAY lose the other (I dunno for sure right now). Unfortunately, they comprise a good portion of my posting quota. My boss has mentioned the possibility of us getting more doctors to post. I certainly hope that is the case, because if I'm going to be losing some posting, I need something to replace it.

Also, it was mentioned today that a few of us might have to train some of the posting people from the new building... including ME!!!!! O_o Now, I have a major issue with public speaking, and although it won't be a crowd of people, I still (might) have to get up and try and tell people basically how to do my job. So not only is part of my job being taken from me, I possibly have to train the people who will be taking it. Lovely...

I hate this back and forth stuff that keeps happening. First it looks as though nothing will change, now it looks like I'll be losing some of my job responsibilities...


This really sucks.

I hate it when stuff changes when people promise you that it won't. And the whole having to train your own replacement (so to speak) is just pure bullshit and a lousy move on your bosses part. Good luck with it all.

I have a problem with public speaking, too, and yet I'm a teacher! Though screaming at kids to put their heels down is a little different, still, it's a form of public speaking. When you know how to do something really well, it becomes a little easier to explain it to other people. *hugs*
