snapdragon76Ahh, Monday. The bastard child of the week. Here's how my weekend went so far.
Saturday: Slept in. Man I love sleeping in. If I could get paid for sleeping in, I'd be a gajillionaire by now. I also went to my co-worker's daughter's baby shower at Olive Garden. I sat next to my boss, which was kinda awkward. Not that she isn't chill, it's just strange seeing her outside of a work environment. I still feel a bit... uncomfortable around her. Mostly because I feel a tremendous amount of discomfort around people who have authority over me.
After I stuffed myself with lasagna, I went home and crashed again. Man, I luvs me some sleeps. Mom and I then watched Grey Gardens that I recorded off of HBO forever ago and never got the opportunity to watch. Excellent movie, BTW. I now have a minor obsession with the ladies Beale. I told mom that there was no way we were gonna end up like them though. Yikes!
Sunday: Church. Then groceries. Then lunch. Home and then laundry. Yep, how exciting.
I asked for two additional days off next week. Tuesday and Wednesday. I need to recover from EPCOT and Tori y'all. However, I'm four hours short of the full three days I need, so I have to work late the Thursday and Friday I return. Not too much, like about an hour. Such the sacrifice one must make. It's better than working on a Saturday!
The red tide has ever so graciously decided to pay me a visit. Well, says I, better this week than next week. I'd have been pissed had it decided to come then.
I know I haven't been putting my little trivia tidbits up like I once was. To be honest... I'm kinda running out of material. Meh.
