snapdragon76Man, I felt like a zombie today... Usually on Mondays I'm pretty OK. I'm fairly alert, see. Not true today. I think it was because my usually epic Sunday nap was much shorter than usual. Mom kept saying how the longer we sleep on the weekends that it throws off our sleep patterns. Well, yes that is true which is probably why I have a tendency to stay up later on the weekends (and not just because I can and am able to sleep in). So, I'm going back to my regular napping patterns next weekend.
Friday was mom's appointment with the ENT doctor because her ear felt like it was clogged and her sinuses had been bothering her a lot lately. Basically he attributed it to allergies. He asked her when her last allergy test was and she said it was about 6 years or so ago, but it wasn't completed because she'd had a reaction before it could be finished. So he scheduled her for another one this coming Thursday. He also made sure to mention to the nurse to go easy when administering it so the reaction wouldn't be as bad and full results could be obtained. Meanwhile, she has to go for a week without any antihistamines whatsoever and we're having a high pollen count... lovely.
Saturday we had a wedding to attend, which meant I had to shave again. Last time I shaved for Easter due to dress-age. Again I was wearing a skirt, so smooth legs were again a must. This time, however, I managed to snag a chunk of my ankle as well. Bled pretty good. The fun part comes in taking the bandage off after the blood has dried.
Next weekend is gonna be pretty busy as well. We have a baby shower (which we went to Target tonight to buy gifts for. BIIIIIG mistake knowing me and Target) and then there's the Relay for Life which mom and I will be participating in. Doing what I have no earthly idea. But mom and I like doing it because cancer research is something important to us.
Well, I'm off to skim through my FL and read some more OotS and QC before I shower and turn in.
