Soooo, the snicker doodles I made yesterday for the cookie swap today didn't turn out too bad... taste wise. Appearance wise, however... They looked a little crispy. But, no one seemed to mind. They were a pain in the ass to bake, though. The dough kept wanting to come off on my hands as I was rolling them in the cinnamon-sugar. Next time I'm doing this, I might buy a mix and bake them. LOL!
This week is a short week due to Christmas and all. It'll be kinda weird, but nice. I got the package from my dad. I left it in the Amazon box because I discovered, much to my dismay, that they weren't gift wrapped. So, in order to maintain the surprise. I stuck the whole thing under the tree. I also wrapped mom's gifts and stuck them under the tree. I hope she likes them...
For all my Northern neighbors... I feel ya in this snow storm, really I do. And I'm not saying this to brag about the fact it's reported to be 78 here on Christmas. In fact, I'm a little disappointed. It doesn't seem to be Christmassy without it being colder out. I haven't even had a chance to break out my winter coat! Or any of my cute sweaters! DDD:
I sent out my Christmas cards already. Although, I might've mentioned that already. Things are kinda running together...
Well, signing off for now! Stay warm everybody!!

Mmmm, snickerdoodles! I have never had those!
I hate when people don't wrap their xmas gifts. :( I'd put the whole thing under the tree, too. (What I REALLY hate is when, growing up, my stepmom would put boxes under the tree in case the presents weren't wrapped, then come xmas day, we took the boxes off, and they WERE wrapped. What I waste of pretty paper!!!!)

Well, you just might have to remedy that sometime, won't you?!
Well, my dad ordered them from my Wish List on Amazon and they used to offer gift wrapping, but I don't know if they have it anymore. I mentioned it to him and he basically forgot to have them gift wrapped. Luckily I was only spoiled for ONE gift. The rest are in the box under the tree.
I'm kinda evil when wrapping things. I bought my mom a pair of books this year, so what I did was I wrapped them individually, then wrapped them together, then put them in the box they were delivered in (Amazon again) and wrapped IT! I like making people work for it...

Yep. After the rolling though, they didn't stick. It was just taking a chunk and THEN rolling it in the mixture that it stuck...
Well, it was my first time making them, so there were bound to be trial and error.

Mine simply forgot about it. It's OK. I think it's a guy thing too...
