Today at work was crap. I got a shitload of charges to post all at once and it took me all day to do the majority of them. As it is, I still have a few left for tomorrow. I never got a chance to post the remainder of my checks, so I had to put them on the free for all shelf. I don't like doing that because I'm kinda possessive of them 9for some reason).
I hope my car holds out. Even though I got a tune up last month, we somehow neglected to have the brakes checked. Guess what's making a fuss? Yep, the brakes. Hopefully the engine won't fall out until I can get it into the mechanic next Friday. *crosses fingers and offers supplicants to the car gods*
kawaiiayu is "challenging" some on her FL to start paper journaling again. I haven't had a paper and ink journal since I started this, four years ago(!!) I think it would be beneficial, because 1. you never know when you need to write something down and you're nowhere near a computer and 2. some things you want to keep track of, but not necessarily on a public blog. However, I need to buy me a new one since my other one is MIA. And I need scratch for that.
Speaking of which, I need to curb my spending a wee bit. Other stuff I can control, but my book-fu is a bit out of hand. I mean, I can easily spend around $100.00 for books whereas other stuff I'd balk at spending that much. It's really sad, isn't it?
I've been a little emo lately, so I hope I can shake it soon. I think I need to see a therapist or something. I think my insurance has coverage for that...

But I know what you mean about books. I can sometimes spend that much on DVDs or now and then games, but it's mostly books where I'll say "Hey, they're books; that's got to be OK!

But, I'm hoping things will look up... for both of us.

Both of my parents are book lovers, so I didn't stand a chance. And I love every minute of it... even if my wallet doesn't. :(
