snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Bloooood)
Well, as some of you may or may not have noticed, I changed my layout again. Not that I didn't like the bats, but I wanted something a little different is all. And apparently I also gained five more icon spaces! Cool! I tried to find more Star Wars EU icons to add, but for some reason I crapped out. Oh well. I added two more MST ones, a Pip one and two Vampire Knight ones (OK, so they're both of Zero. Sue me). I also changed out the links on the side.

I dunno if I'm gonna have to see someone or not, because by the end of the day, my shoulders are killing me. Maybe I just need a massage. They're kinda expensive, though.

I had better luck finding a treadmill today than I did yesterday.

And I'm totally addicted to TV Tropes. I could (and have) spend hours on there. An example: Five Man Band. *snickers* I like that they used Voltron as the classic example.

And finally, some thing that someone had on my Fun Wall on Facebook that I just had to share:

<object width=" 425"="425"" height="355">

*snerk*

Today in History: 1953 - A grand jury in Elizabeth, New Jersey, rejected efforts to ban the film, The Moon Is Blue, for obscenity on this date. The film was condemned by the Catholic Church, and the Breen Office, the official enforcer of the Motion Picture Production Code, told director Otto Preminger that the words "virgin" and "pregnant" would have to be edited from the screenplay, or he would not get its seal of approval. As was his blunt style, Preminger told them bitingly what they could do with their seal of approval, and released the film without it. The movie, with its dialogue intact, was a big hit at the box office.

Uhh, thanks?

hrm, my shoulders have been killing me too. Well, its not really my shoulders, its my upper back, on the back of, and sometimes between. my shoulders. I've had a heating pad on it every second of the day, work and home, and nothings helping. I think I might try an icy hot patch. I think it's because my boobs are so big and my bra isnt exactly fitted correctly... But I can't FIND one that will fit correctly. I tried switching chairs at work to one thats supposed to be better for your back, but its just uncomfortable, I think ill switch back... BLAH

Well, it doesn't help that I sit hunched over my desk most of the day. Mine's not so much my back, but between my shoulders and sometimes the left side of my neck. It's only been happening the past week and a half, so I don't know what started it. Narg...

And since I don't have much boobage, I doubt that's the problem!

I adore TV Tropes. I'm constantly reading there and thinking of my own examples (which are often there.)

Yeah, one link tends to lead to another and then another and then another...

It's my new crack.

That Legos spoof was actually from the special edition DVD of Monty Python's Holy Grail movie (which I still need to own). And since you brought it up, check out this fan-made clip I saw forever ago and still love:

Are your shoulders aching after working all day? If so, you might want to check your posture at least, and perhaps the chair itself...

I also need to find this movie...

I do want to get a new chair, but due to the limited budget in our department, I have to have a doctor's note in order to do so. I see him on the 20th, so maybe I'll bring it up.

I highly recommend that you do. I used to have the data entry job myself, and without a comfy chair (and perhaps those annoying ergonomic keyboards, squishy pads, etc.) you will be in a world of hurt that only gets worse. Once you've worked in Worker's Comp, it's hard not to think about what sitting and doing repetitious movements all day can do to you.

Yeah, I am starting to feel it. I think I may be getting the beginnings of carpal tunnel, I dunno...

I had to habituate to this new layout.
A little retrĂ³,no?
I see you are a vampire knight fan.

Habituate? Does that mean get accustomed to?

Hmmm, maybe a little retro, but I like the dark colors.

Yes, mostly of Zero though. Me and [livejournal.com profile] flamika should probably start a fan club for him.

yeah,get used,you know...
I'm not sure of what to think about vampire knight, but I think I would prefer Kaname.

I have nothing against Kaname per se, but Zero just strikes me in a certain way. Kaname is all powerful and almost untouchable. Zero has the dark tragic past and all that appeals to me Plus, he's hot.

"all powerful and almost untouchable"
I think this sort of people are so often sad and fragile.
Akito was at first a powerful, frightening "man",and then...
I think Kaname is not all what he seems...

Well, I guess I'll have to read more. I'll still have my tremendous affection for Zero, though.
