I saw this graffitied on a wall on my way home from work. I don't know if it was meant to be ironic or not.

Also on my way home from work I spotted a car a few car lengths ahead of me with antlers. I kid you not.

I managed to score a pair of tickets to a production of The Nutcracker on Friday. I've never seen an actual performance before despite having listened to the music several times. I mean, I've seen it televised several times, but I've never seen it live! My inner cultural geek is squeeing right now.

I'm doing another insurance check at work right now because one of the ladies is out on vacation. It was a bit jarring since it wasn't one I was familiar with, but once it was explained the basics, it wasn't too bad.

I have to do some of my Christmas shopping this weekend. I'm getting my cards also. I don't know which ones I'm getting though. I guess I'll walk into Hallmark and know when I see 'em.

Well, that's it for now. I know, I write some gripping stuff, don't I?

My elementary school put on the Nutcracker forever ago, so I did get to see it live. Even as a small school production, it was a lot of fun! I've always loved the story, but it's so much better seeing it performed on stage. I hope you have a lot of fun!

Well this one is a professional troupe who used the local ballet students for minor parts. The main characters are performed by the actual professional troupe. A friend of mine was one of the ballet extras a few years ago. She really enjoyed it!

Oooh, I've seen it a few times, myself :D It's great! I was even in a kiddified version in elementary school.

I was supposed to take my sister to see the nutcracker this holiday, but I didn't reserve the tickets early enough and now we can't go. She was a little pissed to say the least ^__^'.
