The bridal shower we had for one of the girls went very well. People seemed to have liked the Rice Krispies treats I brought. A few of the ladies asked for the recipe. I left the rest there so if anyone wants to snack on them throughout the week, they can.

We finally got our A/C completely fixed. It was leaking again and mom went to raise hell with the front office. Last night the guy finally came. He said that he's been backlogged with the repairing of the stuff that wasn't properly fixed the first time with the old management. Turns out the "line" was clogged and after sucking out the guck, everything works fine. He even fixed the screen door that was knocked off when we moved in our patio furniture for the painters.

Momma duck is still sitting on her eggs. There are about 14 at last count. I dunno how many will actually hatch. We shall continue our vigil!

And I stopped by the bookstore today after work in order to search for Immortal Rain 8 and ES 6, both of which are supposed to be out. Naturally I crapped out of course. So, I'll try to stop by to the other one tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

And I've ben reading more of Inferno. I liked the scene where Saba calls out Jacen at Mara's funeral. She not one to take crap from anyone. I still wonder how the whole thing will eventually end...

And I hope Emi-chan is OK. She's been having family problems and it's beginning to drain on her.
