Ugh to the Nth Degree

Well, the Red Tide has reared its ugly head again. But, better now than during the wedding. Plus, God mercifully allowed the tide to ebb somewhat today, so for that I'm extremely grateful.

Despite this, work today wasn't all bad. I had several lulls today, so I wasn't on my feet all that much. I twiddled my thumbs quite a bit, though. But, toward the end, I was busy putting together new patient charts, which I could do while sitting, so it wasn't so bad.

We had a Mother's Day gathering yesterday, which was very nice. All the cousins were there, so many pictures were taken. But, the food was good, the company was good and a fine time was had by all. It still felt weird without grandma being there, but her spirit was there.

I got mom a mug and a little stuffed bear, which she seemed to enjoy a lot. The card I got her was very cute too.

Well, I'm gonna binge on some chocolate and take it easy and settle in to watch tonight's Heroes.

Really? It looks fine to me and I've never heard anyone else mention anything about it. Hmmm...

You use Firefox, right? It's the same one I use.

Maybe I happened to see it glitching? Don't know. ^^ (I'm still pretty erratic about chat programs--I'd only logged on for a couple minutes to see if the friend I was on the phone with was still using the account I have listed for him. Oddly enough, it was because he was complaining that I'm never online.)

I'm using basic Mozilla instead of Firefox--we're going to reinstall Vash's OS at some point soon, so I don't want to spend time configuring Firefox just to install over it. But yeah, it always takes forever to load your journal/entries, and sometimes it crashes outright. I haven't noticed it with anyone else's.
