snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Alucardracula (hysteriagalore))
Since I started reading Good Omens, I have this urge to listen to Queen a lot now. It could be a lot worse…

This weekend seemed way too short. For one thing, I had to go into work early because of the wedding in the afternoon, so I wasn't overly thrilled about that. Then I had to hurry and get ready to go and I couldn't find my black wrap, so I went without. Big mistake. It was cold in the church.

The wedding itself was very nice. Not overly large, but a decent amount of people were there. There were two hours between the start of the wedding and the reception, so we killed some time by taking the scenic route and then popping into the mall for a minute or two. Mom was able to use her gift card at Macy's. She got a George Foreman grill with removable grill plates.

The reception was also very nice. We sat at the table with all the co-workers (which was how we knew the bride, from work). I got to play my favorite game, "How Old Do You Think I Am?" He heee. I got 19, which was the second time, actually. And I got carded at the bar! The first time, when I got my drink, I didn't have any trouble at all, but when I went to get mom's, I got asked for my ID. It was a different lady though. I was pretty thrown. By the end of the day, my feet were absolutely killing me.

Sunday we went to church, and then afterwards we got our groceries and went home. Mom tried out the new grill with some chicken. It was pretty good.

I spent most of the afternoon uploading songs onto iTunes so I could add more to my iPod only to discover I couldn't upload them since my iPod was formatted for my Mac, and if I tried to upload from my PC, I'd have to reset everything and I'd lose all my songs. So instead of trying to load them onto my Mac, I'll just load them onto my PC. I'd do it on my Mac, but since I have no Internet access still, I'd have to input all the song titles in manually.

I watched Blood Ties last night. I liked it. Henry is very sexy and Vickie kicks ass. However, it's regular time is the same as BSG… I'm not very happy about that.

I know I said I wasn't planning on going out on Wednesday, but I may reconsider since I want to go and see 300.

nice to see we agree on Blood ties as well. Yeah, IMO, that's how vampire shows should be done. I do like it:)

And I liked the way Henry seemed like a regular guy who just happened to also be a vampire. He didn't come off as overly dark or stalkery. Plus, he writes comic books! How awesome is that!!

Actually, the only Tanya Huff books I have are two of her Keeper books. There's a hottie in those ones too...

write romance novels. Which was interesting because everyone made fun of him "i.e., vampire writing romance novelist". Even Celucci did. Was cute thing. though I like the comic book idea better. I dunno, nice and works for me:)

I'm fantasizing now about what my Lucy series would look like on the small screen. I know, I know, do the second book first:)

The comic book fangirl geek thinks it's a nice idea too.

And no one pokes fun at my Henry. *flies to his side and adheres herself to him*

You do get pretty close. You see Gerry's ass in it, albeit in shadow.

*chuckles*

Yeah, don't get too ahead of yourself, girl...

You have to write it first. And the name Dracula's Daughter has already been taken I'm afraid.
