Quickie post before Lost comes on...
The memorial service was very lovely and well attended. During the service, they played In The Garden which was grandma's favorite hymn, so I cried some.
Work was fine. A guy came in to assess where the outlets were going to go for the scanner, so hopefully more progress will be made on that front. I did messaging today. I have to go the the main office and get the phone messages indicating charts that need to be pulled for various reasons and sign them out (so we know where they are if anyone tries to look for them) and delivering them back to the office. It's a bit tiring. My feet are sore. I get to do more of it tomorrow.
Mom's illness is really mostly sinus drainage. Yuck-o. I'm glad it's not me is all I have to say...
I doubt I'll be able to get to any posts tonight. I'll try to read them tomorrow when I have a bit more time, it depends.
I was able to figure out what I'm going to do for Halloween. I think it'll be cute. What is it you ask? Well, just wait and see. *evil laugh*

Trivia of the day: Wellington College, which was founded in 1853 and specialized in educating the sons of soldiers, was quick to adopt its own set of colors for its sports teams. Its rugby team played in orange-and-black striped jerseys, while its cricket team sported light-blue caps piped with yellow — colors taken, curiously but appropriately, from the ribbon of the Crimean War medal.
