snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Kureno -- happiness (flamika))
Well, the job interview yesterday went well, or at least it seemed that way to me. She started off by asking me to tell her a little bit about myself. I never know how to handle that sort of thing. I mean, what do I say? "Yes, I've been unemployed ever since I graduated college four years ago, and I spend my free time surfing the Internet and watching anime." Basically I just lamely said I was still trying to find my niche in life... *facepalm* But, that was the only rough part of the interview. They may have an opening for me at an OB/GYN place where some of the ladies who work there are going to be going on maternity leave soon. So, I keep my fingers crossed. I should hear back from them in a few days.

[livejournal.com profile] kawaiiayu has just made my day. She uploaded some songs for me from the Grey's Anatomy soundtrack. They have some really great music on the show. So, now I'm listening to them and being all happy! *squee*

Plus, in addition to those two songs, I upload some Tori Amos songs that someone on another journal had uploaded from her The Piano compilation, and they're ones I don't already have, so that's a good thing...

And, in case you were curious, this is the printer I was talking about in yesterday's post. Not too bad, I say...

Speaking of which, I have a card or two to make sometime today...

Trivia of the day: According to a survey, an estimated 5.5 million Americans believe they have been defrauded into buying something over the phone. A U.S. subcommittee has estimated that while telemarketing fraud costs consumers more than $40 billion a year, only about one in 10,000 victims reports the problem to authorities.<--which is why we screen our phone calls

I'm glad to hear that the interview went well :-D *keeping fingers crossed for you*

My printer looks a lot like that one, though mine is an older version. I really like it a lot.

Thank you! *crosses her fingers and toes*

Yeah, it does look neat. I have to use mom's scanner at the moment, but I think I'd do a whole lot more scanning if I had one of my own...

I'm glad your interview went well. *keeping fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you. Hee.*

That printer looks nifty. I have one very similar and I just love it.

Congrats on the interview! Sounds like it went well. You can practice your response to that question for next time. You did a good job presenting it thinking on your feet!

Thank you!

Yeah, it's awkward for me sometimes to be on the spot like that. The rest of the interview went swimmingly, though. Or at least it seemed that way to me.
