we're gonna try and do this post without any capitalizations, just for the hell of it. i'll need to stamp down my grammar nazi in order to do it, however.
i did indeed watch 'phantom of the opera' yesterday. i'd forgotten how much i enjoyed it, although i will admit to some commentary from time to time. such as when carlotta began to sing "think of me" and they panned down to the phantom in his lair, my mind flashed:
"meanwhile, down under the opera house, the phantom's ears are bleeding."
i also remember what i had originally thought when i saw this the first time in the theater. specifically when the phantom is first leading christine down into his lair, i remember i thought, "damn! he's hot! forget raoul, i'd do the phantom!!"
the series i mentioned yesterday is called "saiunkoku monogatori." i actually had to write it down so i could remember how to spell it...
i think my itunes is hooked into my brain. yesterday and wednesday it would play all my favorite songs.
someone from the church is supposed to come by later on today to pick up some things for the garage sale the youth are going to have tomorrow. i also have to pick up my prescription sometime today.
yesterday a friend of ours was in town and mom went out to dinner with her. i would have gone, but the red tide hadn't ebbed very much as well as my stomach was kinda revolting. i didn't want to attempt mexican under those circumstances. luckily, she came by afterwards and stayed for almost two hours and we were able to talk. i also have such a good time with her, she makes me laugh.
as for this weekend, i have no idea what i plan on doing. i guess it's up in the air...

trivia of the day: a racehorse averages a weight loss of between 15 and 25 pounds during a race.

And I love your icon...
I can only watched selected scenes because.........
Basically, though I liked the three leads, I didn't like:
1. Phantom lives at Opera House his entire life. I prefer a more travled Phantom. My Phantom character would win in the duel:)
2. I didn't like Driver
3. I didn't like the fact that Christine mouths "I love you" to Raoul before kissing the Phantom. I prefer a much more ambigious relationship between Erik and Christine. The movie weighed heavily on the side of Raoul and Christine.
PS--I don't mind you taking away capital letters. Just don't do 'stream of consciousness writing'. I don't know if I could read that.

Randomness: This has nothing to do with your post.

I think Driver did pretty good because she was unlikable. Carlotta was supposed to be unlikable.
I caught the whole "I love you" bit myself when I watched it again due to a comment someone had made on your journal.

I doubt I'll be doing anything like that, mainly because I like to have some sort of coherency to my posts...

Yep, I'm a Leo. I like being a Leo. I'm also a Dragon according to the Chinese zodiac. I really like being a Dragon.
