Hmmm, how to start?
First of all, my weekend? Uneventful but still fairly full. Mom was over at my aunt's all day Saturday so I was basically left to my own devices. Now for some people, that may be an invitation for some shenanigans, but not for me. For me, I watched some stuff I had been meaning to catch up on our DVR. Afterward, I ran some errands which consisted of buying my hypo-allergenic pillow covers and a small cocktail mixer as well as some martini glasses at Bed bath and Beyond. Why? Because I've had the fixings for an Appletini for months now and no way to make them.
Then I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things and ate some lunch. Then headed home. While I was out, I'd gotten some of those new Space Bag cubes because I had some stuff in my closet I wanted to store better. It really works wonders. Shrunk my stuff to almost half, so I had more space in my closet. So I reorganized a bit. It helped a lot since my closet space is minuscule to start with...
Then I washed all my bedclothes. Trying to keep my cats out of my room while doing so was an interesting feat in itself, but I succeeded nevertheless. Then I washed the rest of my clothes.
Sunday we didn't do much of anything. I went to church then came home and mom and I went to lunch and bought the rest of the groceries.
When I was going through my closet, I found an outfit I hadn't worn since my very first day of work over a year and a half ago. It's a very cute skirt/top combo. I looked very girly today.
I went to the dermatologist today and had my mole removed. Since it wasn't technically cosmetic, it'll most likely be covered under insurance. She did say they sometimes come back, so I had to watch and see. Whatever numbing agent was used was very effective because I didn't feel a thing. It burned going in a little though, but aside from that... nada.
Nothing much exciting happening I'm afraid. Life is just... life. Trying to save up my PTO time so I can have an extra week off for vacation this year. I also found out my dad, step-mother and "German brother" will be in Vegas for a few weeks this summer. Man, I so want to go to Vegas sometime! Not for the gambling mind you (or the prostitutes), but for the shows! Plus, there's a CSI and a Star Trek exhibit there that look to be awesome!
