snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Bless me puppet)
Well, today was interesting.

But first, my weekend adventures.

Sat: Cleaned. The cleaning bug bit pretty hard, so the only thing to do when that happens is to act on it. I cleaned a few of my shelves in my room. I still have a few left over, but by that time, my cleaning fire was down to a flicker. I also vacuumed and scrubbed up the cat vomit remains in the carpet...

Sun: Church. Mom had taken some sort of Sinus medication and it left her drowsy, so she stayed home. Afterward, since she was still drowsy, I went out and bought the groceries I needed, including restocking on Pocky. I even remember to use the green bags we'd gotten. It's definitely getting into springtime because it was getting warmer out. Then the rain came and I made it home in the nick of time.

The rest of the day I spent sleeping mostly. You would've thought I was the one who'd taken the sinus meds or something. Mom woke me up in time to go to our group discussion.

I also watched the prequel Star Wars trilogy over the weekend as well as snippets of the LOTR trilogy and the new ep of BSG. I hope, if I ever get married that I find a husband is is tolerant of my geekiness. Let's face it, I know I'm not gonna find me a model type or anything, but someone who is adorkable and willing to geek out along with me.

So, back to today. I come into work and sit at my work area like I do everyday. I start to work, then suddenly, around lunchtime, I'm told by my boss that I'm being moved. Me and another lady are switching places. I'm not given a reason. So, I have to quit what I'm doing and gather all my stuff together and move to another office. Then I have to wait around for IT to remotely switch our computers, since I can't do any work unless they do. Eventually they switch everything over and I can get some work done. I did manage to put up all my pictures and stuff before I left, so now it looks more like my area now.

It's nice to have an actual desk now instead of a counter. And since I'm not in eye shot of the door, I won't get people pestering me all the time. So that'll be nice. Plus, the lady I share the space with is very nice and personable.

Tomorrow will a lot less dramatic. I have an allergy test though, so I'll see just how much of Florida I'm allergic to. Maybe it'll be bad enough where I'll be forced to move! Like, say, to Tennessee.

Workout today was odd. Mondays are usually full of people using the treadmills, so I walked the indoor track a bit. I spotted the cycle machines were open, so I thought to myself "I've been on those before. No problem!" I get on, set the workout display and start to pedal. Pretty soon, I realize I'm in trouble. For starters, it's getting harder to pedal and my legs are getting sore. I had originally set it for 25 minutes. I start to think, "No way! I'm dyin' here!" So I make it to 10 minutes and quit. I practically had to crawl away from the machine. So, no more bike for awhile.
