Thanks to everyone who gave me birthday wishes! I'm so very grateful to have friends like you.
And I just finished reading Rin's profile, and it makes me want to hug her even more...
I watched 'The Notebook' yesterday (finally). I liked it for the most part. I mean, yeah, there were some predictable moments, but it was still a very touching story all in all.
Of course, having two hot guys in it didn't hurt much, either.
There was Lon (played by James Marsden), who had a kind of cool, casual hotness.
Then there was Noah (played by Ryan Gosling). He had more of a passonate, firey hotness.
And of course, I was rooting for Noah. And that in itself says a lot since I've had a major crush on James Marsden since his days on 'Second Noah.' I think maybe it might've had a touch to do with the love scene. It was exhausting just watching it!! Not that I'm saying it was a bad thing. Far from it.
So yeah, I'd probably buy it...
I started reading the new 'Star Wars' book yesterday. I'm liking it so far. I think it's because it's touching on the after effects of the events that happened in 'Star by Star' which was one of the books in the New Jedi Order series that I liked. I think it has something to do with the heavy focus on the characters from an older series that I read called the Young Jedi Knights. Plus there was a great deal of angst, and I seem to gravitate towards angst alot.
Well, later on I have to go out in the "Please-God-Kill-Me-Now" heat so I can take grandma to her volunteering. Such is life here in the armpit of the country.
