Well, I had to go and buy a new DVD player yesterday since my old one up and died on me. It wouldn't read any DVD's! And it wasn't that old, either! Mom got it for me the Christmas before last. I was dissapointed, but I popped over to Circuit City and got a new one. A friend of mine from high school's husband works there and he got me a good deal and I was glad to be able to get him the commision. I also broke down and bought a digital camera. I saved up for it, so I went ahead and bought it. It wasn't in, so they'll call me when it does come in and I go and pick it up. I bought an extra memory card for it as well. Now, I just have to tell mom I got one. She had wanted me to wait until she had gotten one, but the one she wants for her is over $1000. I know I can get a bigger use out of mine if I get it now anyway. I'm gonna have to do it sometime soon, 'cause if I get it before Saturday, I'm gonna be using it if we go to the wildlife sanctuary that day. I'm such a coward. But, it's not as though it's a spur of the moment purchase. I've been wanting one for some time now and only since grandma's birthday have I wanted to speed up the process. I looked it up and found I had enough to get the one I wanted, so I went ahead and did it. I just have to bite the bullet sometime I guess...

Some friends of ours got a heater for their pool, so I might bring my swim suit along when we go to their house for Bible Study and take a dip afterwards! *giggles* I haven't gone swimming in sooo long.

I'm in a chocolate state of mind, so I think I shall nab me a brownie...
