We had a small funeral yesterday. It was at night too, which added to the atmosphere. I felt like I was an extra in a Dracula movie, or something. Clandestinly burying a body in the dark of night while the cool night air swirled around us like the icy fingers of a corpse!! Ahhhhh!!
Ok, it wasn't that creepy, but still a bit weird, in a way. But, such is the circle of life.
And today's subject line is from "The Terror from the Year 5000." Don'cha feel it!
I finished what I set out to do yesterday. I made those icons, worked on my resume (which I have to purchase in order to have it sent out. Figures), and worked on the Furuba bookmarks.
Speaking of which, I ran into a bit of a problem. The Jyuunishi picture I had for Kagura (which I didn't really like anyway) wouldn't work for the bookmarks I made. I need to find one of her boar form from the back of the Japanese volume 5 (since it's one color). *pokes her Furuba friends* If anyone has one, I'd be most grateful!!
I'm doing a load of darks right now and then I have to pick up grandma's mail since she's out of town. I may pick me up some lunch and the newest copy of Shojo Beat (if it's in) while I'm at it.
But first! A neat meme I swiped from

My pirate name is:
Mad Ethel Rackham

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

That's right, me hearties!! I's Captain Mad Ethel Rackam to ye swabs!!
And, while looking at the scans of the recent chapter of SDK, I thought, "Hey! That scene might make for a good icon! And that one too! Man, it's a veritable smorgasboard of icon making goodness!! ... Oh, poor Kyoshiro."

Trivia of the day: For the 2000 Super Bowl, about a third of the TV commercial spots were purchased by dot-com companies. The following year, the numbers dropped to just 10 percent bought by 'Net companies.
