snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Rei -- apple)
Man, I made out like a bandit yesterday! I went to BAM to use my gift card and I really lucked out. Not only did I get the third book in the 'Dark Nest' Trilogy (From 'Star Wars'. And I have yet to read the second one), but also the newest 'Mediator' book from Meg Cabot (I have all of her 'Princess Diary' books). I also was able to find book six of 'The Wallflower' as well as 'Saiyuki Reload' 2! I was walking on air! It took all of my gift card (and then some), but it was well worth it. Damn me and my book addiction!

I also saw the new New Year's pic from Furuba today. Beautiful as always. I had wondered how Takaya-sensei was going to portray Kureno and Shigure due to the tension between them, and needless to say, it wasn't sentimental to be sure. I may even have an icon idea brewing.

Speaking of which, I finished reading vol. 15 of Furuba yesterday. We get a good in depth look at Yuki's past and how he suffered all sorts of verbal abuse from Akito. Of course, this was primarily after she snapped and started her journey to the Dark Side. And the play was very cute. Hana-chan makes for a very interesting Cinderella... Now I want to read more. *looks around furtively* I think I may just do that.

I also finished the introductory chapter to 'Eternal Sabbath.' It's very interesting but very different from MARS, to be sure. Still, mucho bishie goodness to be had.

Well, that's all for now! I have to go and look for my resume on my mom's computer (if it's in there). TTYL!

what's with everyone's disappointment about the kureno/gure pic? :P
it's not like takaya was gonna draw them lovingly staring into each other eyes as they held hands *_*
Akito is the big wedge that stands between the two O.O

Oh, I wasn't disapointed. I thought it was really beautiful. I was just curious as to how exactly she was going to do it. I liked how the camellia's were in between them. How fitting.

It's goooood! Read it yesterday. Man, I just love those boys. Not to the ravenous degree that those girls do, but pretty close. Hell, Kyohei's in my bishie collection!

I have a really large bookshelf (currently in storage) and I still didn't have enough room. When it comes time for us to move into our own place, I have some serious reorganizing to do. *sigh* And yet, they just keep coming. I blame my dad. He's a reader too. My mom is to a smaller degree.

*laughs* Those guys are awesome characters. ^^ They're not your typica bishies. They could be so conceited about it (especially Kyohei) and yet they're really not. Well, that one guy is excluded, but the others . . . *laughs*

*nod nod* I have two huge bookcases and some shelving on the walls, and they're all full. I've got a few shelves tripled up as far as stacking the books go.

Yeah, Kyohei's a bad boy

Triple stacked! Maybe I should think about doing that sometime.

They are, they are! They SO need to kiss again!

*nod* it works really well with the deeper shelves. That way you're not fighting for space all the time.

*giggles* And they both kick-ass!

The thing is, I also had a bunch of knick-knack things on my shelves as well.

Ooooo, I see. Yeah, I had to actually go through and figure out what to keep and what to pack away for when I get a place of my own.

Yeah, I'm pretty bad as well. I mean, lately it's been mostly manga, but I have a heafty collection of regular books as well. In fact, I had a whole shelf full of nothing but the classics before I packed them away.

There are times when I'm reading two or three books at the same time...
