Photobucket still isn't working for me. *sighs* And I'm getting pretty pissed. I wish there was a trick I knew...

And I almost finished watching FY. I've got two episodes to go. And I got to meet Tasuki!! I love him! He's so funny! And I think I found out the source of the animosity between him and Tamahome. I think it has to do with when Tamahome was under the control of Nakago and nearly beat the crap out of poor Tasuki. And you know, I personally think Yui should just get over Tamahome and get with Nakago. I mean, he seems pretty caring... at least to her. But then it might have something to do with the fact that she's the Seiryuu no Miko... And poor Hotohori (or as zelamenomiko and I refer to him... 'HOTohori'). In love with someone who doesn't feel the same. I kept saying, "I'll love you, Hotohori!! I mean, you're hot, and really sweet, and hell... the frickin' Emperor of Konan!" *sigh* Of course, it's not too bad being Miaka, having two hot guys pine over you. And I still say Chichiri looks better without his mask.

OK, enough gushing over that. I do wonder if there's more though, since we've only been introduced to three of the Seiryuu Seichi so far and there's only two episodes I've yet to see.

Ordinarily I like having the week move quickly, but lately it's just a reminder that our time in this house may be limited. I'm trying not to focus on it too much. I want to write more on ATACT, but I haven't really had much of a chance to focus on that really. I want to get this story resolved so I can move onto something else (but I don't know what yet).

Seiryuu seichi... you've met three... One "died" almost immediately... there will be two others that have a brief time in the series before THEY get killed off. But they go out with a BANG. And eventually you WILL see all seven.


And you doubted me when I told you Chichiri looks better without his mask?! Shame.

Actually before Chichiri was introduced, when I first read Fushigi Yugi, Hotohori was my favorite... now he's my third fav. After Chichiri and Tasuki. (My favorite Suzaku seichi in order its Chichiri, Tasuki, Hotohori, Nuriko, Chiriko, Mitsukake, Tama-neko, Tamahome, Miaka... is it BAD that the cat ranks higher than the two "main" characters?)

Anyway, I was surprised to find that Mitsukake was that one guy that Miaka fought over the fish with. I think he should've kept his hair long, but that's just me... And Tama-neko is so cute, but then I like cats.

For me I'd say the order'd have to go: Tasuki, Hotohori, Chichiri, Nuriko, Tamahome, Mitsukake, and Chiriko. Of course, when I left off, we just met the 'real' Chiriko so I haven't really formed an opinion of him yet. And, of course, as I further watch the series (just added season 2 to Netflix), it may change...

I'm gonna see if I can make some Tasuki icons. Maybe more Hotohori since I got off work early.

Are you watching the first boxset, the Suzaku boxset? Because Fushigi Yuugi itself is a good 50 some odd episodes long, along with the three (I think) OAV series that they did, too.

Fushigi Yugi has 52 episodes.
OVA 1 has three eps... Ova 2 has six eps,.. though they are usually togather as one set... OVA 3 has four eps... but we don't talk about Eikoden. It makes us sad.


And Nakago IS a manipulative bastard... but with all things considered... he turned out pretty well.

Unfortunately... Eikoden was the first ANIME of Fushigi Yugi I'd see, because it was the ONLY anime version avalible to me at the time so I bought it. And I liked it... until I actually FINISHED READING the original story in the manga (which I'd been reading before I got Eikoden) and realized how... STUPID it was. It completely unwrites the original through second OVA!

THAT is what happens when you don't consult the ORIGINAL manga-ka on her world and base it off... pretty much fan fiction.

BTW... have you read the Kaiden stories that eikoden was based off of? They make me sad as well.

Ummm, I'm watching through Netflix, so I have no idea. I just added the last four disks, so I'll be able to watch the rest of the episodes... that are gonna depress the hell out of me, I know it.

And I read up on Nakago. Yeah, not a nice guy (even if he is pretty hot). I also read about what happened to him and, can I say, the Emperor of Kutou is a nasty sonnavabitch. Nothing like dear sweet (hot) Hotohori.

And I made a nifty icon of Tasuki I'll be posting soon...
