(no subject)

I called my dad this weekend since it was his birthday. He wasn't there when I first called since he was at a wedding and was the photographer. But I was able to eventually talk to him.

I think I'm gonna break down and order some books online. 'Hellsing' no. 7 *sobs*, 'Missing in Action,' and 'The Unseen Queen' -- which, from what I heard, has a interesting bombshell in it. So it's off to Amazon.com I go.

Speaking of books, I'm going to be rereading the 'New Frontier' series. Mostly because I've been reading 'No Limits' and I felt I needed a refresher. Not that I mind, really... even though I'm in the middle of two other books.

If I get the chance, I want to go to the movies today. I have to go to the bank and try and open a savings account. I also want to swing by SuperTarget and try and get some more Kitty Cubes since Missy seems to want to hog the one we have for herself. I keep telling her to share, but she won't listen to me.

I heard on the grapevine that my friend wants to ask me on a double date. If so, I'm gonna have to beg off. I mean, she doesn't really know me that well and she doesn't know my taste and besides, the guy might expect something of me I'm not willing to offer.

And I finally got to watch the second disk of FY. We meet Chichiri. I like 'im. But, in the English version, the "You Knows" are a bit distracting, so I'm gonna watch in Japanese so I can get the full effect of the 'no da's' he's famous for. And we came thisclose to meeting Tasuki.

I need to hurry and do what I need to do so I can get everything done that I need to do today...

I say go on the double date. Only a jerk "expects" something in return. Pay your own way if you're worried. Make it clear to him and your friend that you just want to chat and hang out, nothing more.

Yep. It's been awhile since I've read the whole series. And I'd forgotten how thin the first four books were...

Currently I'm in the middle of 'House of Cards.'

I've decided I"m gong to stop reading Hellsing after volume 7. I just HATE what's going to happen, and I'm even leery of the new anime series because of it. *sobs*

Yay, I was hoping we'd get a glimps, but no. I have to wait for disk 3.

I know... *chokes back a sob* I still get misty-eyed when I think about it, but it was a really beautiful sacrifice on his part...
