Well, I actually went for another walk today. I did it earlier in the day so maybe the heat wouldn't get to me. However, I failed to take into account the humidity. Guh. I passed by the community pool on my route and I kept thinking, "Man, It'd be soooo nice to have a pool this time of year." But do we have one? Of course not. *mutters*

And we took the cats to get their shots yesterday. With as much noise they were making in the backseat, you'd think they were being driven to their execution or something. I think it's due to the fact that when we evacuated to North Carolina for Hurricane Frances, they had to be crammed in the backseat for the whole trip. Not a lot of fun, I bet.

My birthday is coming up soon. Six days. I keep wondering if mom's gonna do anything for me. You may wonder why I still get a bit excited after almost 30 years, but I think every year you're still alive should be celebrated. After all, there are those who never make it this far. I think I've discoverd a new appreciation for that fact.

As for gifts, I wouldn't mind getting an iPod or something. A blue one. But, that might be stretching things a mite. However, I would definitely like a gift card for Best Buy or something (for DVD's most likely) or for a bookstore (and not just to be used for manga. Seriously).
