Well, as of yesterday, the Catholic Church now officially has a new Pope. He's a German cardinal. I was surprised they made a decision so quickly! I was expecting it to take much longer! I wish him the best of luck.

And I made some more wallpapers. I really like them! Once you see them, you'll see why I said I was semi-inspired by 'Death Note.' I still like my Rain one, so I'm keepin' him, but I like these ones as well.

The White --this one is pretty straightforward. It may seem a little plain, but I still think it's nifty, especially if you know about DN.

The Color --this one I wanted to tweak with a bit. I wanted something along the same lines as the first, but with a little bit extra. I probably should have made the text white, though...

*sigh* On the DN front, I doubt I'll be able to finish reading the rest this week. I have far too much stuff I need to do to get ready for the Ladies Retreat we're going to this coming weekend. Maybe next week... *grumbles*

I was expected them to take longer on electing a pope as well!! I was very surprised at how fast they churned that one out.

I really like the wallpapers, I especially like the color one. The black 'print-like' effect looks awesome around the edges!

I can relate to that. But think about how much more you'll appreciate the net after a break from it! And it'll be nice to rediscover things like trees and nature and face-to-face communication, if only for a couple of days! ;)
