snapdragon76Well, the time has come to post my synopsis/opinion of the latest Furuba chapter. I realize I'm behind, but sometimes it happens that way.
So it appears that Rin is being paid a visit by Yuki, Haru and Tohru at the dojo (Kazuma's). Tohru sheds many tears in gratitude that Rin's OK, much to Rin's annoyance. Haru is happy to see that Rin has such a dear friend in Tohru. Rin yells at Tohru to stop crying and Kazuma overhears and notes that it means Rin's feeling better. Rin looks very cute with her new shorter hair.
Tohru and Rin take a stroll in the gardens while the boys talk with Kazuma about how she'll be staying with him until she fully recovers. They mention that if she were to go back to either the hospital or the Main House, she'd more than likely take off again. Haru mentions to Yuki that Rin lied about what really happened to her hair and where she really was to Tohru. She's also afraid to go any where near Akito (not that I necesarily blame her). Yuki tells Haru that he admires him for standing up to Akito and how if it had been him, he wouldn't even been able to cheer Rin up.
Yuki and Tohru leave, Haru tells Rin that he thinks it's wonderful that she was able to discover true friendship through Tohru. He then says they need to thank Kureno since he was the one to find her. Rin's taken by surprise since her main thought in regards to Kureno was to hit him (^_^). Haru thinks that when Kureno told him to leave, it gave him the courage to go after Rin instead of simply letting her go.
At Shigure's house, Kyo and Tohru talk about that Rin's staying at the dojo. Kyo make an offhanded comment that affects Tohru. He says that since Rin's going to be staying with Kazuma indefinitely, that he won't be lonely from then on. This is in regards to when it's time for him to be locked away. He then tells Tohru that he'll be spending the next day at the dojo and if she wants to stop by to visit, she can.
The next day, Rin says she'll take over the sweeping. The guy doing it (I don't remember his name), objects saying that she isn't well enough, but Rin takes the broom and ignores him. She wants something to do so her emotions can stay in check. Suddenly, Shigure shows up. And he's in a suit! He looks really good in a suit!
Rin tells him that she was close in finding a way to break the curse from Ren if she hadn't gotten caught by Akito. Shigure tells her she was duped by Ren and that she doesn't know anything on how to break the curse. He tells her that she was being used as a pawn in the family feud between Ren and Akito. He then tells Rin that she doesn't have to believe him or anything, just that he knows Ren pretty well (I should say so). He then tells her that the current generation of the Jyuunishi will be the final ones cursed. He says the curse should break on it's own eventually.
Rin's about to inquire further when they get interrupted by Tohru. She asks just how soon it would be. Years or even a few years wouldn't be soon enough. Rin asks her why. To her, it doesn't matter when, just as long as it happens. Tohru tells her it needs to be released by next spring or else it would be pointless. As Tohru runs off, Rin realizes she was speaking of Kyo. Tohru's thoughts focus on what Kyo said the day before about Kazuma not being lonely. Even though he never finished what he was thinking, she knew what he meant and it troubles her because she knows he's resigned to his eventual fate.
Next chapter wont be until the middle of April.
In related news, I got my artbook yesterday! I nearly did cartwheels up the driveway from the mailbox. I flipped through it and thouroghly enjoyed all the pretty pics!! There isn't much text, but there is some that I wish I could read, including a note (with a lovely pic of Tohru) that I think is from Takaya-sensei herself!
Also, I got my camera!!!! Whoo!!! Yesterday was a very good day for me. I set it up and took some pics. It's actually pretty easy to use! Here's what I took:

kawaiiayu made. I switched it with a really colorful L one now).
My oldest kitty, Missy.

I took another one of me, but I'm not gonna post the actual picture since I hadn't taken my shower yet then, so my hair's looking kinda grody. Here's a link though, if anyone really wants to look. I'm still too much of a coward to tell mom I got one...
I read more of 'Death Note' yesterday. I went through it pretty fast. I was gonna read more than three chapters, but I had to go and pick up my camera and stuff. I'll try and read more today. However, I stand by my belief that Raito isn't entirely mentally stable. Maybe he had been, but after he started using the DN, he's declined. I mean, he was contemplating killing his own family if they found out! Plus, he rigged the drawer he hides it in with a flammable element so the house would burn up if it was found. *shakes head* I was lurking around in the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
death_note community (where I got my L wallpaper from), and I saw some really cool pics of excellent cosplayers! Wow! The one by a band called Plastic Trees did really good, and another group had really great costumes for the shinigami! I was impressed.
Well, I'm going to see if I can find the songkawaiiayu sent me. I uploaded it and now I can't find where it went. I want to listen to it especially now that my speakers are working properly again. *sighs in annoyance*
