Well, I seem to be a glutton for punishment. That part wants to attempt to write an Akito Valentine's Day fic for the contest on altar_of_akito. I sorta have an idea, but I'm not sure how to go about it since I suckage at the ficage. Original fics I'm good at since I control the charaterizations, but try to remain IC with other characters... eeeeeee! I wrote another one in the 'Trigun' fandom, and I got fairly good reviews, but not a lot of encouragement in matters. Plus, I don't have a beta reader (specifically one who's familiar with the fandom). I guess I could write one that's OOC, but then what would be the point. Still, I'll take a stab at it... Ordinarily I wouldn't, but the prize is too sweet to pass up.

Downloaded Firefox. I really like it. I don't have any of the problems I had with IE. I can open links and print from webpages (which I couldn't before on IE for some reason). Pages load a whole hell of a lot faster, too.

Man, I still need to think of a prize for the winner of the V/M and bluewhisker contests, if there's ever gonna be any. I haven't gotten very many responses. I'm a little dissapointed. It's hard to be a mod and try to keep your communities active and vital. *sigh* I'm so stressed.

Oh man! So, we went to Barnes and Nobles today to see if they had Imadoki #5 (which they didn't! Grrrr...it said it would be out today!), but they did have Fruits Basket! Yay! I'm on the last chapter, but I've been watching the cartoon with my suitemate, so I already know that one. I liked this one though! Yay for Haru being on the next cover!!!
