snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Default)
Well, it's that last day of January. It seems so sudden. Grandma's lil' birthday shindig went off without a hitch. She seemed to really enjoy herself, which was good. She loved the gift my mom and aunts got her. It's a trip to Branson, MO sometime in April (when it warms up). She was near tears! I think they made a good choice!

After the busy week-end, we're all going to take it easy today for the most part. My aunt from up North goes back on Tuesday and mom returns to work on Wednesday. Things will slowly get back to normal (if you can call it normal).

I was happy I got another response to my inquiry on [livejournal.com profile] stnf. It was a good one, too. [livejournal.com profile] soleta_nf gave her response. And I can totally see where she's coming from, especially comparing it to the Buffy/Spike dynamic. And she also mentioned about it possibly developing in to something further (like with Burgy and Selar). That got me really excited!

[livejournal.com profile] flamika is making a Kureno moodtheme like the Akito one I'm using. And, naturally, I'm gonna dl it. I still have the instructions on how to do it, so not worries there. She's also considering making a Haru and Rin one. Which I'm also gonna dl. *giggles* Of course, I might have to get another Photobucket account. *snickers*

Tomorrow, I'm changing the color of my journal temporarily. In honor of Valentine's Day! I think it'll be cute!

I also was able to buy Furuba #7 and RK #11 on Friday! I'll post more about them later this week on Incoherant Babbling.

Quick mood theme question for you: Is there a quicker way to install a mood theme (I'm in the middle of installing a Lost one now) than to cut and paste your Photoshop info onto the URL of each and every picture? The uploading of all the pics to Photobucket is a pain in the ass enough. If there's a shortcut I'm missing, I'd like to know it! If not, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. Thanks. :)

There isn't one that I'm aware of. True, it can be time consuming, but once I got into a rhythm, it didn't take me very long at all. I printed out the instructions and the sample moodtheme (with the number code) and that way I was just left with two windows open: the Photobucket one, and the insertion one. It was a lot easier for me.

Good idea, thanks! I'll try that tonight. :) Hopefully I'll have my Lost mood theme up and running soon! :D:D:D:D

Cool! I recently added some pics to mine, which is actually easier than doing the initial coding. It was still time consuming though since I had to do it twice since it didn't take the first time... *grumble*
