Well, apparently, there was a major blackout this weekend over at the headquarters and no one could access thier LJ's. It was a bit of an annoyance, but we survived. If it was still going on, then heads would roll, I assure you.
We had a pot luck over at the church for our departing Minister. He gave his last sermon, and then after Second Service, we dug in! Mom made her Oreo Cookie dessert. Dee-lish! Of course, it was cleaned out! No leftovers (boo-hoo).
I watched 'Moulin Rouge!' for the first time this week-end. Loved it. I nearly lost it a couple of times towards the end, especially when Christian and Satine were singing their final duet. Man, I'm gettin' teary-eyed just writing about it!
I bought the latest 'Star Trek: New Frontier' book by Peter David. I love this series. And Xyon's back! You know, even though I really like Kalinda, I wouldn't mind seeing him get together with Soleta. She kinda needs someone, what with all the angst she's gone through. I wonder if there's an LJ community for this series? Hmmm...
It's supposed to be colder all this week. Yikes!
