I'm trying to use a program I downloaded (and paid for membership allowing its usage). However, my firewall is blocking me. Now, oridinarily that's a good thing, it means the firewall is working. However, I tried following the instructions so the firewall will allow the program to be used, and it still won't work. It doesn't help matters any that I'm completely technologically illiterate. It's called LimeWire and it a download program. Now, I used to use Kazaa Lite, but ever since I had to Restore my computer, it's not on anymore. Now, it used to be free to download, but now, due to legalities, you have to join a P2P membership in order to download. No problem. However, the one I joined doesn't have Kazaa Lite, so I had to go with another one. LimeWire got a lot of good reviews and it looked easy to use. I downloaded it, but I couldn't connect due to the firewall, so I did the whole shpeil and it still wouldn't work. So I tried to use WinMX. Well, that one didn't work either because I don't know about what kind of connection stuff I have. So, I'm gonna try to use LimeWire again. It looks easy to use and all I have to do is just figure out how to get the firewall to cooperate with me. I might have to start from scratch.

In other news, my cat Missy (the oldest one) broke out of our house through the screen in the front window! It's a good thing mom went to look and see what all the meowing was about this morning. I think it has to do with that damn black cat that keeps coming around! Missy always freaks out and attacks the window, well this time she managesd to tear a big hole in the screen. Not only that, but also in the sheer curtains in front of the window. Our irreplaceable sheer curtains my aunt brought back from Turkey! *fumes*

So, today is just starting off to be really swell for me.
