snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Rapunzel)
Hello all.

I had a fun weekend. Mom and I went to the dollar theater for a double feature. Two movies for $3.00! Not bad! Anyway, we went to see 'Tangled' first and foremost. And something I noticed when I was watching was that everyone in the kingdom has brown hair. This was particularly noticeable during the kingdom dance. Rapunzel was the only blonde. I think maybe this was an artistic choice so as to have her stand out more. Make her more noticeable. Like her 70 feet of hair wasn't noticeable enough. Once her hair gets cut, she's a brunette, like everyone else. Maybe that was a way of showing her as an official member of the kingdom.

I could be over thinking it though.

After that movie was over, mom and I had some free time in between, so we walked around and looked in some of the shops near the theater. We went into the hardware store and I found that they were selling home made jams and honey. I thought that was an odd thing to be selling at a hardware store, but I think they were locally made and so they were selling them for whoever made them, I guess.

We were going to meet some friends for the second film. Well, I was. I wanted to see 'Deathly Hallows' again and mom didn't so she was going to see 'Narnia' again. I went into the theater without seeing the other part of the party. Ten minutes or so into the movie, they came in. They had gotten lost! So we were able to watch the movie together after all!

Afterward we decided to grab a bite at the nearby McDonald's. I thought it was a better choice than the bologna I was planning to eat at any rate. So we ate and talked like we like to do when we get together. It was fun, like always! I enjoy it.

Sunday was pretty laid back. we did some laundry and I fiddled with my Wii so I could get internet access with it again (hence the previous post). I watched 'Unstoppable' on DVD while mom was crammed into my room (my room isn't all that large, see).

I heard more info about the office building we will be moving into. My boss was given a walk through on Friday. I'm pretty sure it wasn't JUST her, but other PFS supervisors as well.

Anyway, she sent us an email with some more details.

-- our department is getting three suites for us to use. Two smaller rooms and one larger room.
-- there may actually be windows.
-- we might not get the same roommates as before. It will most likely be divided by job responsibility. i.e. all the charge posters in one room and all of the insurance posters in a room.
-- there will be three people in one room, three in another room and six in the larger room.
-- there will be a large break room with three refrigerators.
-- many bathrooms!!
-- we get to keep our same computers, which is good because I have my email settings and my work documents all saved on the one I'm using and I'd hate to redo all of it...

Aside from myself, there are two other charge posters so the three of us will most likely get a room to ourselves. As it happens, I do tend to get along quite well with the other two ladies, so that will be good. And I won't be in a large open area with a lot of people looking over my shoulder, which I like.

So. things are looking pretty positive right now!
