Yeah, two separate parks. EPCOT is the one with the World Showcase (i.e. representations of different countries) and the futuristic stuff, and Disney Studios (formerly MGM Studios) is the one with the movie making stuff...

Depends on what you like to do. Would you rather go on simulation rides and visit other parts of the world (for food and shopping), or would you prefer to get a taste of Hollywood for the day?

EPCOT is my personal favorite park due to the World Showcase having awesome shops and such, but Disney's Hollywood Studios does have its own fair share of coolness. The Citizens of Hollywood was something I enjoyed seeing, plus the Rock n' Rollercoaster is all kinds of fun.

Personally, I'd just get a park hopper pass then walk from one park to the next. The Boardwalk is also worthy of passing through while between parks.

Park Hopper sounds good, but I dunno if one can see a lot when they're only gonna be there for one day. Plus, my mom has a gimpy knee and is unable and unwilling to traipse hither and yon.


EPCOT is my fave too, mostly due to the World Showcase, but it has been awhile since I've been to Hollywood Studios (since it was still called MGM Studios). The Rock 'n Roller Coaster sounds fun, but mom doesn't like to ride roller coasters...
