Man, I had the Headache of DOOOOOM all day today. Nothing helped to get rid of it. It's still hanging around like a bad smell or something. Ugh. I think the massive cold snap (Oh, SNAP!) we're having maybe a contributor.
And, yesterday, when I was taking my shower, our hot water heater started acting up again. I don't know if it's specifically the heater itself, or the circuit breaker which keeps tripping itself. Mom said it started sparking when she tried tripping it again, so she wasn't going to try again. We left a message with the office and someone came while we are out and mentioned something about getting a new heater. These are the same people who promised us new appliances when we signed our lease last time. Appliances we're still waiting for. So I'll believe it when I see it. As to what we're going to do for hot water in the meantime... you're guess is as good as mine.
And, to top it all off, the Red Tide washed ashore yesterday. Buh.
I found the house I want to move into. It's technically a townhouse, but from what I've seen so far, it should fit our needs pretty well. It's only $700.00 a month (which is close to $200.00 LESS than what we're paying being crammed in this shoebox). It has three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. One of the bedrooms is a loft bedroom! I LOVE lofts! Thing of it is though, our lease doesn't expire until May and we have to give them a 60 day notice that we're moving, which means we need to let them know by the first of March. However, I don't know how long this place will stay on the market in order for us to save up the security deposit and all that. We can't break our lease because that would cost $1000.00. So, I'm throwing myself on the mercy of the realty fates that we might have a chance. This is even before we've had the walk through...
