snapdragon76Well, today was my last day to do the evil BCBS checks on a regular basis. The girl I was filling in for is returning from maternity leave tomorrow! YES!!!

Anyway, we had a fairly busy weekend.
Saturday:
Even though we didn't technically leave the house, we were still pretty busy. Mom had to rehang the lights on our porch because the ones that were up there (for an entire year. Yes) weren't working properly. Besides, she had some new ones she wanted to hang. So she spent most of the day doing that. I, on the other hand, spent the day noodling on the computer trying to some minor non-internet stuff. I didn't even bother getting out of my pajama's until much later because...
We had a Christmas party to attend. Two, actually. The first one was from our company. It was pretty fun, actually. I posted some pictures and posted them on my Facebook page. Mom and I sat with a few of the ladies I work with, but we both wandered around and said hi to other people we knew. The food was pretty good, actually. I had three desserts...
The second party we went to was held by some friends of ours we used to go to church with. We came in at the end, so things were starting to wind down. We didn't eat much since we ate at the previous shindig. Still, it was nice to chat with them since we don't see them as often as we used to.
Sunday:
Due to the fact we were still recovering from the previous night's parties and the fact we still had another full day ahead of us, we played hooky from church... Anyway...
At lunchtime, we went to the church since mom and I are both involved in the Christmas program with behinds-the-scenes stuff. I run one of the spotlights and mom is stage director. It's not a super long production, but it still can be draining.
After that, we stopped by the grocery store because we needed to pick up a birthday cake and ice cream for my aunt's impromptu birthday get-together we were having. There were only a few of us, but it was pretty nice. On the way there, mom and I spotted a peacock wandering the property of our apartment complex. We stopped to take a few pictures. A couple of them came out really good!
After a couple of hours ant my aunt's, we had to stop by the store and get the regular groceries for us for the week and then return home because I had to finish laundry lest I have no clean clothes.
So that kinda sucked up my weekend. This coming weekend looks to be fairly full as well, since we have play practice at 9:00 IN THE MORNING!!!! I'm usually still asleep at that time on Saturdays. Ugh... I also have plans for that evening. TT_TT
